most people just ship "canons" that look nice together, like for example one less feminine + one more feminine member. they kinda don't care about dynamics, tend just to scream how tru the ship is. in some communities really questionable relationships don't get that much attention as "compared together" ones. it's like that with hunhan and chanbaek (no offence ofc)

 

speaking of most suspecting members in exo - i guess it's tao and sehun? they ping ppl's gaydar a lot, together and separately, they did a lot of strange stuff, idek even. for me they're ones i can really at least suspect

I am so confused by Suho. At first I was like "nah he's like one of the straightest in Exo" but I am starting to doubt it. My bi senses are tingling

I know he has a fansite (La Noblesse) and the Admin is a boy and he actually gave SuHo a red scarf and he wore that in the airport once, so maybe that's why he's so open minded. But sometimes people think that supporting gay rights means that you're gay and that's not really the case everytime... I don't know about SuHo tho. But my gaydar pings more on SeHun an Tao, they are the only ones in EXO for me. But well, SuHo maybe is pansexual, bisexual or gay. It's so hard to say really!

 

 

I don't think that that scarf incedent did something that big to his open-mindness cuz uk, i guess he already had it - it's more like education stuff & his own view on the things :^)

Hi guys. Tho I'm reading this thread for a long time and have like, nice overview of opinions, I want to know what do you think about supposedly gay/bi idols interactions with again, supposedly, straight ones?

For example if members of some group know that person X is gay, woundn't they be uncomfortable to do skinship with this member?

Wouldn't the gay idol himself be afraid to do skinship/another suspicious interactions, especially if for example he's private person or he's afraid of his reputation/afraid to be revealed? Won't they at least get shy or something? I don't even know. It confuses me.
Even take peeps who's being discussed a lot there and a lot of users there think they're gay/bi - Key, Jo Kwon, Heechul, GD, Sehun, Tao ... etc etc etc. What do you think?

That is if the person is not close to the other one, Example X is gay but then is not comfortable with Y then it is really awkward and relly get shy. But its a different matter if X is close to Y. Like theres some subconscious actions that he do Y which will ping other people watching them like "Why would he do that? or Why is X like that to Y?"   Thats a sign.  To explain it simply (Pardon me for using Mark and Jr.)

Like here for example :  

This is mark's reaction when someone kisses him. He also said in interviews and variety shows that he is not comfortable with kissing others / being kissed  *weekly idol and i forgot the other one*

 

 

Now like that for instance, Mark goes kissing Jr. all around. Like what is i that. He's okay with Jr.? yet he doesnt want it with others?

 

Interactions like that may be accounted as tendencies of being gay. But there's a fine border between a fanservice and being gay. That is where Off-cam Interactions kicks in, Like whenever there is no need for pleasing the fans for their fan service since its off-cam it will kinda pings you off if you would see them still doing things like kissing, holding hands, putting their hands in other ones inner thigh and so.

See what i mean? If that was in the fanmeet then its another thing but once it goes offcam like they thought no one was filming them. What will think if instances like this happens?

So overall, we post things that pings us of. Or evidences that can prove that the idol might have a gay/bisexual tendencies. But we are not claiming ourselves that once someone said that this idol is gay because we assume that the idol is gay of no reasons. Which lead us to the fact the we can only just point out things that makes us thinks why this idol is gay but in the end only the idols would know whether he is really gay or not.

But I guess, it's also depends on personality? How open or close person is.

 

For example, in my country straight people are extremly uncomfortable with gay/bi ones (especially boys), and I'm not saying in Korea it's the same, I'm saying that you can get a different vibe while doing intimate things with a non-straight person, If you know that person is gay-ish ofc (cuz maybe person X isn't even out to the group.)

 

Recently I'm watching EXO intensively, tbh I don't want to bring them here again (cuz lmao I have a feeling that everybody is already tired of them as fk), but I find them very confusing in this way, some of them give quite different vibes in my opinion, especially Sehun - I watch him a lot.

 

 

He's very delicate. Sometimes I look at him moving and doing things, giving 'that look' to another men, and I'm feeling like I'm gonna explode cuz of gayness, but sometimes he gives me like, typical cool-bro feeling (I know that gays can be like that, just describing.) Tho, I could make detailed analysis on his sexuality later.

I was thinking today....if companies asks their stars to do a little bit of fanservice, and you have to start to show one of your member that kind of affection. Dont you think that you would get really confused?

 

For example lets say Yunho was told by one of the managers to make a little bit of fanservice with Jaejoong. Now we know Jaejoongs past, having only sisters so he is more used to being touched and being around girls.

 

Now imagine yourself in such a situation, if a girl/guy starts to look at you like that and is really nice to you. At first you think "WTF?!", but then when it keeps on...it starts to feel normal. And then you just realize that this should not feel normal.....and that you should ask yourself why you are liking this and why you suddenly feel nervous around him/her. Whats that pounding...whenever you interact with each other? 

 

Dont you think that kpop companies are hooking up some pairing without knowing?

 

I mean you cant play the heart....i know that you cannot turn someone gay, but this fanservice thing could maybe awake your bisexuality?

I'm sure it happens. I read that usual korean men aren't that touchy, like, if they do it it means that they really want to do it. For idols it's more common, some things for them get more prevalent and accepted due to their image (often it fluctuates on kinda androgynous line). 

First time it can be just skinship, but after it can be like: wow, he's really nice I want to touch him, but it goes in more subtle way. Something like that. Don't we see that some idols do skinship off-cam? It doesn't mean that they surely have smth going on uk, it means that they like touching each other. (But when things get more intimate it's obviously another case) I think it can't turn someone gay but it can make a person to be more open of idea of it.

 

I find Freud's theory of Innate bisexuality is somehow true tho. And, I guess, there are a lot of more bi/gay people in korean idol's showbiz that we think probably.

Suho doesn't come across as someone gay for me too, but maybe because I'm used to gays being flamboyant, and feminine which isn't all true for everyone. but apparently, he likes male fans like a lot and also you know like idols always asked ideal girl, he not only described his ideal girl but also ideal guy. Also EXO member chanyeol said something like love is not only between a man and a women and some people on tumblr are claiming that he might be gay or bi or non-hetero.

Well, about what you added: i agree with you but it's also obvious things to me. Sexuality is very complicated thing anyway, and we can't turn gay man into straight etc.

I just find idea of it true - that bisexuality can be latent/hidden. Even when person claims to be straight, this person can have homosexual thoughts occasionally. That's it. 

It related to the Kinsey's scale also.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying people can suddenly start loving mеn/women (depends on person's sexuality).

Well sehun and Tao were definitely a thing. And I think ksoo (which is d.o right?) is not into guys. So that leaves taemin, who he's good friends with and is touchy feely with.

 I won't be so categorical with d.o tbh, It's even been said here that he's homophobic, but I noticed that he's totally positive and comfortable with his fanboys (if it says something). When exo were in America, there were bunch of fans greeting them. He waved and smiled to his fanboy and he even cried after that kkkk, fanboy i mean.

That's exactly what it's viewed as. Mens jaw lines are more square and angular while women want the smooth and v jawline because it's more feminine. That's a pretty basic rule in facial femininity not just in Korea but a lot of facial feminization surgeries.

 

But people seem to think I'm saying he's gay because he got that procedure, that's not it. I'm just saying that you don't find your average man paying for a slimmer pointier jawline that's popular among women in your country.

Their gaydar is bad as fuck.  Then most gays/homosexuals are all around itaewon and theres a place for them called Homohill in there like Korean there can be gay as fuck and once they are out of that place like their going back to STRAIGHT business.

 

You can be asked like , "Are you gay?"  Even though you are but then just simply say "No".  And poof everyone will believe it.

Here in Russia everyone thinks that every idol is straight and when someone brings this topic (ppl here are basically heteronormative as fuck and kinda stereotypic), even just assumes that someone can be bi or gay, people start bitching and being very negative, they react like that even to Tao lmao.
