you know we hardly ever have a reason to talk about Suho in this thread but I was really surprised when he said this in the newest 90:2014 episode

I think people are reading too much into chen's reaction to suho saying the guys in the mv could be gay. He said "you're thinking too much into it" because that's what suho was doing, overthinking it, the mv is about two guys who like the same girl so his theory about them being gay came out of nowhere (suho just what were you thinking about  )

 

and chen is always loud when he is presenting, this is why he's a good MC so him being dramatic with the way he speaks is nothing new. 

 

and with xiumin, if you see the vid, when suho stated he thought the guys were gay he had no reaction to it but only reacted when chen said "you're thinking too much!,".xiumin always makes faces in reaction to anything anyone is saying, he's the listener type like me rather than the talker, and the listener types always make faces to show that they're listening to what you're saying lool. That's why some fans have gif sets of "the many expressions of xiumin"  --plus in variety shows you have to exaggerate your reactions.

 

also, xiumin is closer to the exo members that people think are gay (tao, d.o) than to those that people don't think are gay. And, his-I-don't-even-know Luhan is said to be open minded and not homophobic so yeah, I don't think luhan would tolerate being that close to someone homophobic.

Luhan's stare towards Xiumin has always caught my attention...It's not even like he's staring only when Xiumin speaks...

He's staring a lot, and intensly and for a long time (and I am sure when Xiumin's not looking back, he still feels it)

And his face is like full of adoration sometimes and I am looking at my screen and want to slap some sense on Luhan's face like "come on the camera's right on your face control your expression please"

it's actually this answer that makes me certain Luhan is gonna marry some nice, rich girl and live a nice, rich life.

 

The thing with Luhan, he's open minded enough to understand that everyone is different, and he is open minded enough to think "I may even fall in love with a man, who knows what the heart wants?"

 

But, I think he's practically straight, because if he ever was in a position where he could choose to be with a guy (if his feelings went beyond the artificial curiosity) or with a girl, then he'd 100% choose the girl, because who wouldn't want the easy way out if they were lucky enough to be able to choose?

 

plus, he said he wants to get married soon (in 2 yrs) because of his parents and he doesn't plan on being in the industry for too long.

obviously his parents wouldn't have told him go get married to a guy, if he's planning to get married soon for his parents, he'll obviously also pick to marry a girl..for his parents. (there was another question about dating and his answer made me think he's already in a relationship or plans to be soon enough, something along the lines of "if my fans can't accept my girlfriend, I'll just thank them for all the times they've supported me up until then.")

 

 

let's not also forget the most obvious reason for his mellow answer; almost 99.9% of his fans ship him with another male, if he said he's against stuff like that and doesn't support it then the world will collapse for his fans. So he had to find a middle ground between pleasing the fans and saying he's okay with boyxboy (and I do think he's okay with it in real life too, just not for himself) and not causing any misunderstanding with the general public who aren't as enthusiastic about homosexuality.

Alot of people here refute dating scandals and say they're "cover-ups" e.g. baek and taeyeon, shinee jonghyun and that actress, gd and kiko. and I used to always say "well people can also fall in love with girls...it doesn't have to be a cover up."

You see just how many celebirties are in fake straight relationships, and literally it seems like most celebs are in PR relationships, to the point where I'm now second guessing every hollywood couple lool, and apparently there are at least 2 gay people in one direction - wouldn't say I'm surprised.

 

 

But yeah, if the "open" hollywood is filled with so much deception and lies just to cover their sexuality, just how much of that exists in kpop too? 

 

tbh, I still think it'll be a long time until a person would come out - esepcially since it's career and social suicide. But it's still interesting.

Just to play devil's advocate a bit, to be fair, a lot of those blind items could be made up bullshit.  

 

 

True that's what I thought too but once the news is out in the media, the blind items get "solved" and then if you go back to the old ones you see they match up to stuff that's now happened . They get it from sources within hollywood - but they always double check it since they don't want to lose their credit.

 

Like there was a blind item about Jimmy fallon and how him and his wife couldn't have a baby so they're trying a surrogate, and a while later the actual news came out. Also, they gave the exact date of when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (who is apparently a lesbian) would break up since that's when their "dating contract" ended - yup, apparently they were a PR stunt the whole time - and Rob couldn't stand her after a while.
