Which male idols do you think are gay?

Hello everyone, I have been reading the thread since a few years now, I think I started at page 260+? I was a silent reader and didn't really want to join in on the conversation as I don't really like to debate but now that the thread is a bit slow I thought why not and bring back a little bit of movement, so here I am. I'm gonna write for every group that I have either been a fan of, or that I saw a lot and am comfortable enough to tell my thoughts. English is not my first language and I'm trying to be as formal as I can. I have more than 12 years of liking kpop. I started kpop with Shinee so let's begin with them. ( This is my opinion don't be rude if you don't agree please) 

Anyway let's begin: 

-Shinee : do I have to talk about Key? Besides him, I really do think that Jonghyun was either bisexual or hetero curious. The others are either straight or good at hiding their sexuality. I only ever doubt Taemin once in a while but that's it. 

-Super Junior: Heechul always gave me bisexual vibes as he showed a lot of interest in both male and female. His relationship with his "best friend"and Momo comfort me in that choice. Siwon is a big enigma. He's so problematic but at the same time I'm wandering if it's not internal homophobia? He showed some signs of being interested to male before, but we know that he's a very religious person, and if you're gay and grew up in a religious family, you know how confusing and scary it can be. The others don't ping to me.  

-2pm/2am: Same thing as Key, do I have to talk about Jokwon? In 2pm, the ones that are making me questioning are Jun.K and Wooyoung. 

-Exo: About Sehun, I would be very surprised if he ends up straight. The way the members mentioned a lot the fact that he isn't interested in girls, the way he himself doesn't hide his attraction to men, his relationship with the chef a few years ago. I know he answered that question in the live but I always thought it was a way for him to get a diversion from the rumors or just simply to protect himself. The other one I'm pretty sure is Kyungsoo/D.O, I won't go into details but I'm pretty sure he is very attracted to men and is ok with his sexuality. The ones I'm questioning are Xiumin and Suho, mainly because of Leo and Suho's best friend. 

-Staying on the topic of Vixx: Leo is gay. They're just so much evidence. I have doubts about N, but I can see him as straight. -Bap: Daehyun? Nothing more to say it's just his vibes. 

-Infinite: Sungjong , don't have to explain. Woohyun is a question mark. 

-Got7: Well, I see Jackson Wang as someone who won't put too much thoughts about the gender of someone if he's really attracted to them. He's either pan or straight imo. 

- NCT: Ten is obvious. Taeyong too. The one that are questioning are Jaehyun, Jongwoo, Hendery, jeno and Jaemin. Note, I really do think that Doyoung's brother may be attracted to men.

 -BTS: oh boy. I'll start with Suga, it's obvious that he is bi, showed many signs till this day. Mainly because of his style and mannerisms, and personality overall, I'll say that it's a possibility that Jimin may be attracted to men. Taehyung/V, I know that it's a possibility that he is dating Jennie, but I'll be honest, I really thought that he was gay, of course it's possible that he likes both male or females, but I just can't remember any moments where he showed attraction to girls, on the other hand, the receipt for him being gay are endless, so it's very confusing. Namjoon/RM may be a surprise in the future but I'll say straight for now.

-Seventeen : Scoups, Joshua, Jun and Seungkwan . Well, it's the same, just a vibe. I remember scoups hinted at him being bisexual though

-The boyz: Q and New are gay it's obvious. I'm pretty sure Younghoon may be attracted to male too. Of course I won't talk about Kevin. Their ex member Hwall pings too. 

-Block B : The one that pings are Taeil and P.O. 

-Big Bang: G dragon is bisexual or pan. 

-Nues't: Ren, won't say more.

Now onto the "newer" groups: 

- Stray kids : Minho, I love how everyone seems to agree that he's gay but no one has concrete proofs! Felix gives me bisexual vibes, Hyunjin and Jisung are questions marks.

 -Ateez: what a fruit bowl of a group. Everyone but Yunho, Yeosang and Jongho are attracted to males for sure. I'm pretty sure that Hongjoong is the same as Suga. Overall they all seems pretty chill with their sexuality, which is great. 

-Enhypen: Sunoo is so comfortable with his sexuality it's so beautiful to see. I can see Sunghoon as attracted to both genders but he's less confident than Sunoo for sure. Heesung can ping sometime but I think that he is straight. 

- TXT: I agree with everyone, Soobin is so fruity there is no way is not gay. I'm eyeing is friendship with Q too.  Yeonjun is a question mark. I'm leaning towards attracted to both genders for now. 

At that point, those are the only boy groups that I stan for 12+ years. Then came boys planet and ZB1 as a breath of fresh air. So endearing to see a group like them being created in front of our eyes and loved by many. I'll end the post with this group. If you want an opinion for anyone else let me know. 

-ZB1 : Hao and Hanbin are the one I'm 150% sure they are gay. And them being respectively center and leader, oh how happy I was.  And it's beautiful to see the mutual feeling they have for each others, no matter if they acted on it or not. Their mirror/soulmates thing is so pretty. Two gay men on top of the new generation, lovely. As for the others, Jiwoong is attracted to male, you don't have to question is relationship with Seobin to see if he likes men or not, just search for his older contents from his old groups and you'll see. Him being a bl actor is a bonus. Taerae pings me. That's all.

Side note: After encountering many podcasts where gay korean people talk about being lgbt in Korea and in the industry, I have to say this. I know shipping isn't well received here, but we can't deny that it's possible that a member can develop feelings for a fellow member, people fall in love with  their coworkers everyday , some even risk their careers with fraternising, and no one bats an eye if we think about it. It's bound to happen. Ships, they are a factor to take account when you're discussing an idol's sexuality. Some of you won't even consider to talk about an Idol sexuality because the receipt are from a ship. Being an idol doesn't mean you're suddenly not human. You see them everyday too, you're bound to develop feelings, it's natural. Some are better at hiding than others, that's all. They're all human, if they both have mutual feelings, it can be possible that they act on it at different point. I have to say though, of course I'm not talking about the delusional ships that are made up just for fantasy. I'm just talking in general, they are idols that are dating outside of their groups, and some within to a certain extent. It's life, we don't know what people can do for love  ( I'm open to talk about it in DM, don't attack me I won't answer in public and make the thread a fighting place)

Well as I said in my previous post ( also sorry I don't know why the writing came out so big), it was a possibility that he was dating her, that being said, it doesn't completely erase all the receipts brought here. It can simply means that he likes both genders, maybe he's more into men, or more into women, we can't really know. As for me, it didn't change my opinion at all about any idols, it's like Heechul/Momo all over again, like, he's dating a girl? ok then it's a possibility that he's bi or pan or whatever suit them best. Doesn't mean that they're not into men at all. 
As for the fluid part. I'm totally on the positive part. I was very confused with my sexuality at first but as I grew up and dated or was attracted to someone I understood that my view changed a lot and I'm not only attracted to one gender but both. I guess it is really possible that with time, with meeting different people, environment or just simply growing up, we can question our sexuality and be more open about trying something else. ( sorry for my bad English I'm not sure if I explained my thoughts correctly here ) 

Side note: about the shipping post, the user missed my point, thai bl actors and fan service are a whole industry of it's own. It's known that it's their job to sell their ship and that it's most likely that they are just coworkers or friends at best. About 80% of those actors are just here for the money and fame. We can say the same for obvious ship pushed by the members themselves or the company who knows that they attract fans too. I was talking about the one that are more down low and where it's a possibility that at least one member or both are queer.

boys planet was really a breath of fresh air, all the queer contents that we have now! I really like the fact that Hanbin isn't afraid to talk like that, knowing that i-fans alongside k-fans are aware about the fact that he and hao might be queer. Him and Haruto are the new standard of kpop idols for me.

Sorry for the late reply! Well if I remember correctly he did "date" Suzy for a few months, and he had dating rumours with one of his co-star too, but nothing too serious. Tbh, I always thought that between him and his close friend Gong Yoo, Gong Yoo is the one that pings me the most. But for LDW, I think it's a bit weird that he's still not dating publicly or something ? Idk the guy has it all imo! so it's either he's dating secretly, probably a female, or he might be queer but I don't think so. He may simply doesn't want to get married or start a family too. Who knows. 
Besides Yoo ah in ( ) , the only actors that I follow and ping me are Yim Siwan ( since his ze:a days, and if I remember correctly there were few rumours back then, a tv host asked him what he thought about it and he was pretty chill. The tv host wasn't great tho as she kept asking him if he's gay and all...) , Gong Yoo, Seoham... Also Park Bogum is a big enigma. They're all I can think rn. What about your opinion ?

It's a shame I don't have access to create a new thread. It would have been so cool as there are so many wholesome moments to share. It's even more interesting to see that most of them happens behind the scenes and both of them seems to restrain themselves when they catch a camera or fans. I wish we could discuss them freely without annoying people in this thread or attract wrong people too.

Tbh  I still think his relationship with suzy was probably at the start when they got caught and it simply didn't work out, I remember poor Suzy was attacked because she had dated two very much older men.

I've been thinking about Lee Soohyuk solely because of his relationship to G Dragon/Hoshi. I'm still not too sure about his sexuality but I wouldn't be surprised with either ones. 

Woo Dohwan I wanted to talk about him but I didn't because it's simply just a vibe that I get from him. I don't really have real proof. He's really cute/act cute in real life and seems like a  clingy person, but the thing is it's mostly with men.Since the King eternal I'm eyeing him. I wouldn't say he's queer for sure but I'm getting vibe here and there.

I can’t. Hanbin guessed who it was based on the letter and again referred to him as his “eternal half”. These two must be stopped.

I'm mostly on the kr twitter and it's really refreshing what this group is changing in the industry. From what I see, a lot of korean fans do find Hao feminine/delicate. Most of them actually! And since hao and hanbin are so close they seems to kinda accept it and there isn't much negative/homophobic comments ? Some of them even quote international fans and jokes with them. We're really in a new era. 
Btw about the gift, kr fans are wondering why they blurred the " To xxxxxxx  " from Hao's letter to Hanbin on Instagram and the Yujin reading Hao's letter thing too.

Changing topic, what's the general consensus about Ateez's Seonghwa?

For EXO my opinion have not changed.I still think that Sehun, Kyungsoo and Suho might be queers. I forgot to answer when someone talked about Sojin and Kyungsoo . Back in the days ( 2014 or 2015 I think) I remember when few fans thought they were dating back then and the receipts  were that Sojin having painted nails with written I DO on it or that he was spotted with a women ( who could have been a manager as he was filming a movie at that time) with a pink shirt and Soojin had wore one months ago.  To be honest at that time I couldn't believe someone would think they were dating just because of this?  Idk since his debut Kyungsoo was clearly loved by the korean gay community and he does give queer vibes too. There's hasn't been any rumours since then and he has never show interest in women as far as I know.

About Ateez, I do think that Seonghwa is queer, alongside with Hongjoong which I think there's a good possibility that he is pan. I still have my doubts on the others members as they as a group are very private. What I know is that they are so supportive and that's cool.  
 

Lastly, I don't think I'm the only veteran kpop stan that had the sparks back with Boys Planet/Zero Base One. Besides the obvious Hao and Hanbin, I'm keeping an eye on Taerae as he was a bit flamboyant in Boys planet but the more days passes the more he pings me so we'll see. Still the same opinion on Jiwoong. It's cool that he seems to have a lot of fanboys too! 

Also I'm gonna take one for the team and talk about Hao and Hanbin. Shoot me if you want but with all of the things happening  before our eyes, all the moments  clearly cut by wakeone, all the behind the scene, the love they share by describing each other's, also for the time korean fans share a lot of moments happening when it's not filmed or when the attention isn't on them( I'm talking fan meeting or even bts from Camp ZeroBaseOne) that are "crazy" for just two "coworkers" . I don't know but for me it's obvious the two have something for each others. Whether they acted on it I don't know but they are clearly aware of it. Their eyes don't lie

Plus kissing in the front of the car in public spaces.

 

Now, I know when you bring sexuality into this, it’s a whole another layer. But I’m just saying, don’t assume that people are necessarily doing the “correct” thing. Because there are definitely a lot of idols doing shit that they shouldn’t even if they would get in a lot of trouble if they were caught. I’m not talking about anybody specific btw.

 

Maybe I’m talking into the void though since I’m sure the people who made those posts aren’t even here anymore lmao.

The first time I posted on this thread I tried to convey this thoughts with my poor English. To be honest since I've liked kpop for so long I've seen a lot of scandals where newly debuted idols were caught in dating news and I always wondered why they risked their career like that. As I grew older and also had a few professional experiences I realised that the majority of kpop fans view their idols as someone who can't make their own decisions , that all idols are "tamed" and follow the rules strictly. While I know some really respect them, it's most likely the majority do date in private and take the risks to get caught. It's important to note that compagnies hide their idols relationship if they haven't been caught even though they "broke" their no dating clause if they have one. When we add sexuality in question it's a bit harder but at the same time I do think it's easier for idols to date when they are gay or lesbians, because at the end of the day, majority of their fans would call it close friendship and they know it. Because they think they can't be gay as it will ruin their career. 
But they seem to forget that idols are just like you and me, they feel the same way as us, and you can't decide for them that they will never try anything if they like someone just because of their contract. Like I said in a earlier post, not only in the music industry but others too. You don't know what people can do for love ( or anything else really) because you are simply not them. 

If your coworkers break the no dating policy in your company, idols can too. It's a matter of hiding it well.

I really don't know if it was posted here already as I was not active in this thread when it aired but for anyone who didn't know, back then, Hong Seokcheon followed Hanbin on his personal insta when it was still up. 

 I don't think that we still need proofs about his sexuality but I wanted to share it

Tbh I'm neutral about RPS and kinda enjoyed stumbling upon the unhinged takes those two would post since it reminded me of late 00s/early 10s tumblr where people posted absolutely anything with no fear,  but it was an inevitability that being THAT horny on main would blow up in their faces. Not a matter of if, just a matter of when.

ZB1 fandom is really odd-- a lot of zeroses seem to ship Haobin but at the same time don't want to get tainted with the RPSer stigma. You see people claiming that Hao and Hanbin are soulmates/destined/perfect matches/etc, very romantic sentiments, but they always emphasize that they only mean it in a platonic besties way!! Then you have people who want to hide all hints of ZB1's past queerness and downplay Haobin to avoid hatred/scandals, who end up tacitly homophobic in the process. The whole "Hao imitating Hanbin's mother dance is offensive" thing from a few days ago was a good example of the latent homophobia lurking in certain parts of ZB1 fandom. A fandom with a lot of growing pains, for sure. (As for me, I'm just here for Ricky )

I agree with all of this !! I'm on Twitter but mostly on the kr/japanese zeroses side bc I find that some i-fans are going too far. From what I have seen about Hanbin and Hao from that side (kr) is that they are very supportive people keeping it cute and all. I don't see a lot of homophobia but I kinda see it from the I-side on low-key which always results in fights all the time. I feel like some people reduce their moments based by their homophobia but at the same time some of them use them as their fantasy and go waaaaay too far and almost all the time it's nsfw. About the person that met HSC, I really doubt that he outed anyone to them considering his past I wouldn't think one second that he'd put someone through this. I think they misinterpreted or used HSC words to fit their narrative. 
Also what I really like about OH is that there's a difference in speculating about one sexuality and using concrete proofs to out someone and everyone here gets it. I hope I don't see this kind of situation here ! At the end I really hope that that mess doesn't reach the boys.

coming back from the dead to speak about this. to be fair if you're a zerose you ( in general not you op) would know that gyuvin is a very very affectionate person to the point his irl friends complained about it. If i were you I wouldn't think too much about gyuvin and ricky's friendship. in both ways. I genuinely think that both of them are straight, but are very close and share a deep connection, i think they might have a boyfriend joke between  them going on but that's it, i genuinely don't think that they would go as far as planning to play up to that extent their friendship to fan serve. they look sincere whenever they mention the other. 
as for gyuvin's joke, i don't understand how this could possibly pass as homophobic? it was just as much as a joke as a jab to wakeone, that company is clearly homophobic just as the others and the fact that the group has queer members in it it isn't hard to imagine that they could have really forbidden them to one, come out as gyuvin said, and two, for the queer members to lessen their interactions. If any one could have access to their past so was wakeone's staff. Not naming anyone for the sake of not starting ship discourses but it's been known on both international and korean sides that something's going with the company about it. 
also i've seen both reasons why korean fans are mad, some think that gyuvin talks/jokes too much and too freely ( it's not his first "scandal" like this)  and the other is because some are aware about the possibility that there are queer members and by mentioning this, he's kinda confirming that wakeone had to specify this rules to them, thus making it easy for homophobic fans to turn their back on jebewon.
