like i'm sure somehow you could connect many idols to each other through mutual connections with these non-celebrities who are still within the industry or have connections to it and whatnot. for the gay kpop friend group connections, i haven't looked too into it and i'm just going off the top of my head here, but i'm sure holland and nana youngrong kim's instagram following lists could be good places to start if anyone's curious.

 

speaking of which, is there any notable 4th gen idol who interacts with this circle? maybe something like people from the same group friend following an idol individual ig. I doubt it though since 4th gen idols are really reserved and only interact with each other(for now).

 

 

this doesn't mean anything but Hong Seok-Chun followed Stray Kids official ig recently.

 

i find it interesting that HSC only follows ultra nugu 4th gen bgs like Black Level and VANNER but doesn't follow any other 4th gen bg except skz group ig recently and Yeonjun individual ig. i wonder if they met before or someone from skz caught his eye, like ex Victon Heochan before.

oh i didn't know that about heesung and tag, i think i heard soobin also friends with an mlm influencer or something, i might be wrong though. but yeah i guess it's not possible to see which idols who friend with whom from the ig following since only some of them have personal ig(idk why i always thought that enhypen had it). also, that makes me even more curious on why HSC just followed skz recently.

I did some searching in this thread and somehow ended up finding this post from 2013. I think this is one of the most accurate lists of idols tbh granted i don't know all idols on this list. I think most of these idols aren't in straight relationship or married.

There are some more idols who ping my gaydar sometimes, especially whenever they're together with another group member (for example U-KISS' Hoon, who is all lovey-dovey around Soohyun, or B1A4's Baro and Sandeul), but the ones I mentioned above are the ones who I'm almost 100% certain can't be straight.

As a westerner living in Korea, I do have to admit that it is harder to trust one's gaydar over here, though. I've been surprised by some really flamboyant guys who are more into girls than anyone else. And of course, there are also some really "manly" guys who are being chased by all the girls, but aren't interested at all because they prefer men. The safest way to guess someone's sexuality here is to watch the people around them. Especially their closest friends. Same thing goes for idols: sometimes the last few minutes of music shows are the most interesting thing to watch: who greets/talks to/hugs who, who gets ignored by who, etc.
I think you all know that already, but I wanted to write about it again anyway~ ^^

One more thing: I don't really believe all this talk about idols being seen in gay bars. The only idols I've ever heard or read about on Korean websites as well, are Yoo Ah In and Jaejoong (who even took all those photos inside the bars. he doesn't even care anymore ). And Itaewon =/= Homo Hill. Homo Hill is in Itaewon, yes. But more than that, Itaewon is actually famous for all the good foreign restaurants over there, so don't think that any idol who spends their free time in Itaewon is there for the gay bars

I wish we had more people who lived and accustomed with things in Korea to give insight about this lmfao. OP only posted that then dipped, i wanna know what's their thought on these newer 3rd gen and 4th gen idols. Something worth noting is who idols choose to interact to tells more about them i guess.

i think the person on the tweet you embed is Lim Seungjin, a pretty famous volleyball athlete who does a lot of skinship with his friends. that twitter user most likely saying that a man kissing another man is just normal bromance between guys and it doesn't mean Zhang Hao is gay lol. Maybe that's the case with Lim Seungjin but i'm sure Zhang Hao likes men cause the receipts are just too many  the quotes on that tweet is pretty funny cause some are trying to argue that the blurred man might be a woman or saying that he's bi(he could be but it seems like they're trying too save him from being gay more than anything).

The person Seowon was high fiving is Park Hanbin, who i think pings a lot, and he probably gets what Seowon means too. anyways, i found that interesting since one of the only things i know about onlyoneof is their whole 'gay image' so the contrast of a member or multiple in the club getting at it with girls like any regular straight dude in comparison to their 'concept' is kinda interesting to me. this doesn't mean they're not allies or that not a single one of the members are gay obviously but something about it made me feel like i had to share this, maybe as a reminder of the above that lots of things in kpop really are just a concept or public persona and not reality (and that's not always entirely a bad thing either!), i don't know lmao.

I don't wanna be a party pooper but I feel like this is purely coincidental. He used pink heart on Instagram and the red one on bubble, also the order of colors always changes on his bubble messages. He made a typo earlier on his bubble display name and it only shows purple. I think he's trying to give the fans a hint about his hair color since the comeback is tomorrow lol. Felix pings me as queer but I think this is just a coincidence.

If you know him well you can tell it's just really a coincidence lol. Some people jumped to a conclusion and got disappointed because that's not what he meant, even saying he backtracked or the company limiting him(the post is still up unedited on ig btw). Felix has been sharing stuffs that seemed like hints, like giving that rec of Diana Ross' I'm Coming Out or a yt series featuring a gay couple and mvs with gay storyline among other things, and he never clarified despite people were making assumptions of him after that.

Stays have been set on this Felix bi narrative since 2019 because of his answer in a fansign. He said "boy or girl?" when asked about his type but i think people read too much to it when you consider it's just a fansign. He never showed any hint about being bi or supporting bi other than that, but stays already have this narrative when he does something or when these colors are mentioned. Of course he could be bi but I'm leaning towards him being gay because he has shown more interests towards men than women, his mannerism, and it looks like he's been giving hints based on his recs idk

 

since we talked about Felix here's him checking out Changbin and can't take his eyes off of those muscles(he does this often).

 this is the origin of the meme if you want to know, op was dancing to Heize VingleVingle and used a bunch of hashtags to find gays on twitter, he did it for weeks before this tweet went viral on korean twt, not just k-gay twt. it has become a really popular meme on korean twt that if you search 빙글빙글 on twitter it's just filled with kpop stans making jokes about it with their faves. i don't think they are necessarily on k-gay twt but they're definitely chronically online and follow bunch of korean kpop stan accounts seeing how fast they referenced it when the meme was just birthed on early august and that vid uploaded on 15th August lol.

this falls into number 2 category but i think it's worth reading. I agree that it's mostly just 1 and 3 type of fans being fussy about him and his supposed hannam tendency, though at the same time i don't think he's really calling out wakeone for banning coming out, it's probably just him making a dumb joke spontaneously.

then Felix visited Key at SM to do their challenge together

Key posted on bubble about a junior who gifted him presents that he personally handpicked. I think he didn't say his name because the challenge hasn't been uploaded yet. Fans noticed that it might be Felix after the challenge was uploaded.

A fan who attended the fansign asked Felix about it. He confirmed it and said he rarely gave gifts and thought a lot of what to buy

 

 

he did a lot of challenges and collabs with seniors but i think this is the first time he ever gifted someone personally handpicked gifts, even to his idol friends outside skz, i think he rarely gave presents. Though i'm pretty doubtful for the reason for the gifts, i think he just want to get closer to him haha. Also the choice of gifts is kind of interesting too considering Lush in Korea is usually worn by gay men, although maybe it's because Felix also love using Lush products.
