I think it's universally agreed that Sunoo is not straight, from the way he acts (the vibes lol) to all his pre-debut stories and hobbies. It might be based on stereotypes but i would be really surprised if there weren't any truth to it in his case. 

Personally i am also of the opinion that Heeseung is not straight. I don't think he's gay, but he does give strong bisexual vibes. It's not necessarily anything he has done or said, but it's just a feeling. 

I do think Sunghoon could be bi as well. He doesn't give as strong vibes as Heeseung does, but it's still there. I might also think this because Sunghoon reminds me of Soobin a lot (who i think is gay). He has discussed wanting a girlfriend in the past (pre-idol life), but wanting that doesn't make anyone less or more bisexual so make of it what you will.

Side note: It's not because of the figure skating, trust me. Despite general populations opinion most male figure skaters are straight, just like in the general population, and elite figure skating to this day remains a fairly homophobic sport (which is ironic as fuck). Just last week there was a russian judge that said some awful things about homosexuality in the sport, and this summer when a lot of LGBTQ+ skaters came out there were some horrible comments from the skating community that followed. Not to mention one of the sports AMERICAN top stars spewing homophobic bullshit back in august as well. It's a mess. 

I think the rest (Jay, Jungwon, Ni-ki, Jake) are straight. Like someone else mentioned, the ships in enha are pretty fanservic-y and based more on close friendships than anything else. I do love me some Jaywon moments though ngl, they're cute, but they're definitely not together lol 

And i can't recall any of the members having moments that made me  question whether they're homophobic or not (and i've watched almost all of enha's content)

 

The "sunoo is becoming more manly" shit is driving me up the fucking wall these days. All he has to do is sit in a manspreading position and a certain part of the fandom goes " manly sunoo" it's sick 

It does come off as very homophobic.

I hope Sunoo remains the way he has always been, those fans can go fuck themsleves. 

On another note, i have to say that i always took the 'Sunoo was popular with girls' thing as a Sunoo and the girls trope. Especially after that story about him giving one of his girl classmates pads when she was on her period (or took her to the nurses office to get pads, i can't remember the details). Maybe this is toxic of me, but that doesn't sound like something a straight 14 year old would do for one of their classmates that they weren't besties with. 

It's probably true, I saw an interview where Sunoo said that he used to do makeup and hair for his friends, he also used to dance to gg songs with his friends and he was the only boy, I guess it's clear what kind of friend he was

I don't understand why you think Vernon is straight. also in regards to mingyu, I know some of the mingyu fans clearly feel some type of way about this here, but I still he's straight as I do for most of 97 line. speaking of seventeen though, I forgot to mention Jun. I think he's an interesting person that I can't quite put my finger on either way

I have been half following Vernon since before he debuted with svt, and I can assure you that he only talked about once having a girlfriend at 12/13 years old before he was a trainee. After his debut Vernon has been very consistent in being very neutral with his ideal type. I could honestly make a thread with all the times vernon was neutral in interviews, fan questions even in his lyrics (he actually thanked a fan for noticing), when the other members were much more detailed in describing a girl. In a radio interview vernon was asked about his ideal type, then vernon got nervous and didn't answer immediately, seungcheol repeats him but this time using the word "ideal female" type and vernon just says he has no idea .

I knew this one person who was super feminine and sassy but said he was straight. I know it's all stereotypes that all gay men are sassy and straight men act a certain way but now I do wonder if Sunoo comes under the sassy but straight category. I've never seen Sunoo show interest in anyone. 

Like the way we talk about Taehyung and Bogum or Minho and Jisung. 

Maybe he was asked to tone it down? Maybe he thought it is best to not show it too much? I don't know. I only hope he is not being bullied or discriminated against. 

I have been following enhypen for a while now and although I see that they are closer and Sunoo is more integrated there is still a wall with him. I don't think it's bullying or anything, but I do see a difference between the older ones with Sunoo who is considered part of the maknae line compared to the other younger ones, they tend to be more affectionate? Also Sunoo has mentioned many times about having to change attitudes like doing aegyo, like he said that before he wasn't ashamed to do it but now he thought more about it because of the other members reactions.. (but he still keeps doing it ) Anyway I see that there isn't a member who wants to do fanservice with him, that time he was on the radio with jungwon and Won complains that he can't wear a certain kind of jacket because Sunoo wears them often and if he wears it it would be like a couple look, Sunoo tells him it's ok for him but Won says he doesn't like it so Sunoo says he'll try to wear other things

What I'm going for is that I "know" (and yes, in “ because despite the fact I've been with them since pre-debut, I know absolutely nothing about their daily basis in real life) but if I' m sure of something with all my strength, is that sunoo is and will always be the one with MOST personality among all of them and gets angry without even hiding it, he's not the kind of person his facial expressions don't betray him. You normally see this kind, sweet and sassy side of him that we all fall in love with, but he’s capable enough to defend himself when something affects him and he doesn’t need the fans as mothers to "save" him from enhypen, which is exactly where HE wants to be.

With this I don’t want to imply the comments of them regarding his weight are fine, but if we are going to judge a friendship by that let be fair and think there’re many more groups out there where these things are also said among the members and nobody comment nothing. Why is this happening when its comes only to enha? Is it because sunoo looks THAT “weak" and his femininity doesn't make it in the eyes of people capable of taking those comments like all the other people in those groups? And that... is obviously not misogynistic on your part?

On the other hand, if there's one thing I know It’s true as well, it's the continual prospect sunoo is exposed to for trying to be more masculine. And this is not even the fault of the other members or the group in general, they’re not even in charge of the concept of enhypen. This is entirely the responsibility of the team that works with them and the constant pressure he receive from them as need to "adapt" to the concept in cuestion, which unfortunately is one of the most straight through the bg industry. 

I still remember when in iland the producers used to congratulate him when he looked masculine in performances, which probably made them choose him to be part of the group because they knew he would be able to handle that duality within him in the scenarios.

 

Finally, it is true Enhypen is one of the groups that has been formed most recently and through a reality show. What I’m going for is give them the opportunity to grow as person and as a friendship because surely it was very shocking for everyone to live with seven boys with VERY different personalities and try to adapt to them in a short periodt of time. They still do it to this day and they don't deserve to be seen as bad people for comments that are (sadly) normalized in Korea because of the stupid and impossible standard of beauty they have, that OTHER groups also do to eo.

I wouldn't even be defending them if I didn't know they themselves said  without sunoo enhypen it wouldn't be the same and that they need him right there.

 

You are giving enha members too much credit Yes I understand what you mean and I honestly don't think it's bullying but they have definitely said questionable things to him. From his weight (everyone already knows that) and also making fun of him for his feminine side, specifically Jay, hoon, and ni-ki several times. It's true that Sunoo is capable of defending himself and in fact he has already told them on camera on 3 different occasions to hoon/ni-ki not to tease him so much, but nothing really changed.. So idk

Well, a youtuber who reads tarot and said that all enha is straight also claimed that the reason why the guys in the group are "envious" of Sunoo is because of his life as a rich guy.... When is the most inaccurate thing she can say, the only ones who went to public schools were Sn/woo all the others went to expensive schools and some studied and went on trips abroad, Sn first trip was to Germany this year with enha

So funny If you follow enhypen closely you'll know that sunoo never hangs out off camera with the members, and in fact that's something his antis use to talk bad about him (like he doesn't want to integrate into the friendship,he breaks the group bonding blah blah blah) This is the first time anyone has seen sunoo outside of work and I'm so happy he found besties that are so supportive!  Also Sungmin, ichan and hojin went to enhypen's showcase yersterday and posted on Instagram sunoo's posters ,they told him that he worked hard and not to cry~ they recorded him while he was saying his ment and called him pretty they love him.
