Also, I don't know if It's bc I'm an older stan but...The way SM promotes Nomin...the way this ship is so manufactured...Never really got into it tbh. They have a strong brotherly bond tho, that is evident. Jeno - Gay. Idk just...take a look more closely into the way he interacts with Renjun. HE IS COMPLETELY WHIPPED. I swear that i'm not even being biased here.There was (or still is) clearly something going on with these two. And I never noticed any indication that he feels attracted to girls... I don't particularly agree with this whole theory about his relationship with his family though...HOWEVER, i do feel like Doyoung's affection and protectiveness towards him is partly because of Jeno's sexuality. Renjun - Possibly bi. Again, his interactions with Jeno are very sus to me...Specially after We young era. Ridin' not so much but honestly, the Renhyuck agenda was at It's peak during this whole era, so... Yeah, I do think he feels attraction towards girls but I also sense a lot of tension/intimacy in the way he interacts with Jeno... AND, there's an infamous moment during some SBS gayo thing (I can't remember the name of the event exactly) in which Minhyuk (the gayest to ever gay in monsta x) is clearly flirting with Renjun and Jeno just clenches his jaw immediately. I mean, why would Minhyuk flirt with some random straight idol during some random event? I'll try to find the link and post it here....Just....VERY SUS. Haechan - Straight and I also think he is very comfortable and very sure of his sexuality. Very similar to Jaemin in my opinion. I think his way of approaching fanservice (as in, like, with absolutely no shame) tends to mislead people into reading him as gay or even bi but I think he is just very aware of his entertainer persona and he knows the affect it generates. Every action is VERY purposeful and conscious. I just love him, honestly...Born to be an idol. Chenle - Gay. He pings me A LOT, although I don't think a can elaborate much on his analysis...I also keep a close eye in the way he interacts with Jisung, I do sense some sort of tenderness and wonder on Chenle's part but I can't reach as far as saying there's more than friendship there . Besides, unlike Heachan, Chenle seems to be very free spirited and even though he is able to deliver an act to build his "idol persona", he is the least inclined to do this or even maintain it for long . Resuming, I think he is one of the least ""fake"" (hate this term but it serves the purpose) idols out there, bc his spontaneity is something that he just can't avoid. He is what he is and the older he gets, the bolder he'll become. I just can't help but adore him. Jisung - Straight. Also very uptight, in a very Taeyongish way . He is very hard to read tbh, but he has already showed interest on girls and none of his interaction with his members or another guy has raised suspicions...So I'll just go with straight. AGAIN, this is just my opinion. Bc I can differentiate dynamics that I like x what I perceive. To an extent, obviously. About Nomin, I thought it was general consensus that it is a ship that SM encourages (since SM rookies days ). Just as Yuta x Winwin and Chenji (I SHIP IT REALLY HARD) for exemple. Does that mean that every interaction we see on camera is manufactured ? Obviously not. They seem to be one of the closest members of NCT. Their chemistry is real!! But the romantic undertones with all those weird gender roles being reinforced (such as jaemin being the mother and jeno the father)? Not really into it, no. and I won't ever take any divergent opinion as a offensive ... Before folks assume you for being a shipper (been there done that and being negged is no fun), you may want to scroll back a few months where there was a discussion and analysis on Jaemin and Jeno, together and separately, in and outside of NCT activities. I think many here find it hard to read and analyze because Dream doesn't have much interaction outside their NCT bubble. i highly believe that...chenji and markhyuck as well...but mainly during 2016-2018 eras. Recently, aside from chenji, i don't see these ships getting much attention though... but i don't think chenji is being pushed as a romantic pairing, is more a like a bff type of content. we don't see a lot of skinship between them actually. nomin and marckhyuck are another story. And Chenle is so funny lke...he can't be neutral when it comes to fanservice... his reactions are always like " miss me with that gay shit" or "JEAMJEN IS MY FAVORITE COUPLE" there's no middle ground.
