• He has openly supported the LGBT community. He might just be a strong ally, but the way he talks about it....it's something that, in my opinion, is close to his heart. (Read q.2 and q.3 below)

• I don't know the context, but I found this funny. It's not really serious, though.

• What's also interesting is that I found it quite diffcult to find this information about him when earlier (say, last year) I could find all this with ease. It could just be the overthinker in me and 'fans' might've just buried this, but who knows? Maybe K-fans or some higher authority made it diffcult to find all of this as there might be some truth to this?

• The reason why these three ping me is their overall vibes. Their mannerisms are what you should focus on. 
• Hyeongjun is very flamboyant.

jungmo has a very interesting past.

i don't know if he actually came out to his friends and they outed him (which would suck) because they didn't know he'd become an idol, or if he "acted gay" in their opinion and used it as a "joke".

he also seems pretty natural with giving and receiving attention to and from guys. that video of him flirting with the white guy and not getting embarrassed whereas the other dude was literally red lmao.

there's also this:

at 14:07, the male host asks him if he's ever had a girlfriend and he seems taken aback and gets flustered. he ends up denying it and saying he's never been in a relationship.

hyeongjun seems to really like male attention imo and i think he lowkey had a crush on minkyu back in PDX

i think that seongmin could actually be on the ace/aro spectrum. he's feminine yes, but he also doesn't seem to be attracted to anyone. but he's young, so he may still be confused 

i go between bi and straight for wonjin.

• If you follow Pentagon, Kino clearly pings. He's quite feminine overall. It's not the strongest indicator, I know, but there's just something about the vibes he gives off. His 'diva' side comes out when he dances, especially to girl group songs. 

 

 

• I don't know whether it's unconscious or not, but the way he behaves in front of other men should be noted. It seems like he loves getting their attention. Once again, if you follow the group, this isn't something that should be too surprising.

• He doesn't change the pronouns of the songs he covers. Even if it doesn't mean much, I think it's something we should appreciate. 

• Speaking of music, Kino wrote a song titled Always Difficult Always Beautiful with fellow member Wooseok. It references San Junipero, a Black Mirror episode about a Lesbian couple. A fan (who is actually on OH) thanked him for writing the song at a fansign and it's such a heartwarming moment.

• Kino is clearly open-minded and knows about LGBT symbols, etc. The follow-up to the above moment is really cute too!

• He covered Fools by Troye Sivan (an openly gay singer) on Pentagon Maker. The MV depicts a gay relationship. He also mentioned in an interview with RIVERIVER (vol. 17) that he considers Troye Sivan and Mura Masa as his influences (Mura Masa's MVs have shown LGBT couples and he has performed during pride week several times):

Kino: Mura Masa, a producer from the UK, and singer-songwriter Troye Sivan. I feel like I share similar emotions with the two and I am also influenced by the production aspect. 

• He's very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. He could be an ally, but his support seems very personal. It stems from somewhere deep within.

• Many people have noticed his clothing/styling. While this could just be the stylists' choices, it's very likely that Kino knows the significance behind each item.

• Some people found his friendship with Vernon to be 'suspicious' (Personally, I think the two just bonded over their shared interest in music, composing, etc, but who knows?).
• He seems (seemed?) to have a crush on Yuto. I've seen quite a few 'interesting' moments between them.

• Kino recommended The Handmaiden, an acclaimed movie featuring a lesbian couple.

• He uploaded of picture of him holding an LGBT book, We Are Okay.  He uses his platform to spread awareness about the community and other important topics.

• He also recommended Macklemore's Wednesday Morning, a song whose lyrics touch upon women's and LGBTQ+ rights.

In short, stan this beautiful and talented human being.

I agree with Kino possibly being bi/pan. Wouldn't surprise me tbh. That was initially my impression of him actually. 

Either way, Kino deserves all the love and good things in the world. Pentagon, in general, are just really open-minded and supportive people.

Yanan Analysis

• If you know Pentagon or Yanan, he has a feminine and soft personality. While he isn't flamboyant like Kino, his mannerisms ping me, as well as many others. Yanan is also a shy person overall, so this might not mean much. 

• While Yanan might be shy, he isn't afraid to speak his mind. It's refreshing to see and has given us quite a few 'receipts.' Let's take a look at the pictures below:

• Pic 1: He asked a female fan at a fansign, "are boyfriends so easy to find?" He was frustrated he didn't have one. It could've been a joke, but even the fan was left confused.
• Pic 2: He saw an Eminem poster and immediately thought of him as handsome.
• Pic 3: On Chao Yin Zhan Ji (CYZJ), he chose Wu Jiacheng to be his partner as he "was attracted to him at first sight."
• Pic 4: He liked a picture of a shirtless Ronaldo on Weibo.

• Yanan seems to be open-minded in general. If we take a look at the last picture in the below tweet, one may see it as a harmless joke. However, I've seen a few interpret it as Yanan rejecting the idea of traditional marriage, which isn't all too surprising coming from him.

• He called a fanboy's voice "beautiful." It probably doesn't mean much, but this is Yanan after all.

• Here's just a light-hearted moment for the time being. Hui wanted to say that Hongseok's "chocolate" (abs) were the most visibly distinctive. When he looked to Yanan for help, Yanan gave him the word for delicious instead of distinctive. 

 

• Yanan can be very soft and touchy with his members. Here's him kissing Kino's neck, for example.

• From what I've once read, Yanan was popular among girls in his school for his looks. However, he never dated any girl and instead had a few close female friends.
• Now let's move on to his interactions with Seventeen's Jun on CYZJ. Many found their interactions on the show to be very 'interesting.' I'm not the kind of person to ship idols, but there was just something between the two. Just look at the series of gifs below:

 

• This video shows their memorable moments:

• A few noteworthy timestamps (basically the whole video lol) -  1:33 (Yanan touching Jun's hair), 2:48 (Jun's excitement when Yanan appears), 4:51 (Yanan gushing over Jun) and 6:09 (The thoughtful gift-giving. Yanan wears the bracelet given by Jun even during his sleep).
• In general, you just have to pay close attention to Yanan's facial expressions and body language when he's around Jun or talking about him. Yanan is pretty shy in general, but in Jun's presence he seems way more open and comfortable being himself. Love or not, it's just nice to see since he has been through a lot.
• What's more telling is the people's reactions to their closeness. They too joke about their relationship. 

• Some more fun stuff below. They also met up after the show which is nice. 

 

• In a sexual orientation/Pentagon bias survey on Twitter, Yanan had the highest percentage of LGBT fans followed by Kino. This is interesting, but not really surprising, in my opinion.

i definitely find Yanan so interesting, i properly had chance to appreciate him only on that collab show and loosely followed him, i think he definitely has some interest in men, at the "flirty" times you can see him stop get shy about it right after. I think he does without realizing then gets panicked lol
