I'd like to discuss Taehyung and Jungkook and Jin and Namjoon interactions (and all of BTS really) in the open way this thread invites including disagreement, but it's impossible because it becomes an anti-shipping pile on because of how popular they are as ships in the fandom. It's often followed by the preferred pairings of the commenters, and that's the TL:DR: If you genuinely believe in a romantic relationship in a group, you should feel comfortable expressing that and giving your reasons. People shouldn't piss on that just because it's easy, they should either engage seriously or move on in my opinion. But it's probably best not to put effort into proving why your pair is real in comparison to others - there's a lot of "Ugh I can't take that pair seriously that doesn't belong here but now THIS pair, this pair right here, they're real and valid and gay." and it's silly. I had no idea about shipping culture when I first wandered in here and did it myself, and it was dumb of me. This is especially true if it's in the same group (*cough* Bangtan *cough*) or a 'conflicting ship' because that is truly shipping. If you're just in it to disparage that other pair and hype yours up subtly (or often not-so-subtly) to 'convert' people, then it's better taken to Twitter. Isn't JRen a big thing? I've seen clips on twitter but never dove deeper! I guess so, in the past. But first ship was baekren (baekho+Ren) and internet tells me it was also big. When minhyun was in wanna one, all I see is Baekho was all about Ren and they are still together in a suspicious way.
