Which male idols do you think are gay?

What I have a problem with in general is the consensus that flamboyant=gay, masculine=lesbian so I may have come on a little bit strong with disregarding jhope as gay.

I do believe that all of bangtan are allies and that some are even bi/gay. But from the interactions I saw i just wouldn’t bet on it being hobi. Also he doesn’t ping at all...he kinda behaves like one of my straight male friends who kinda has gay moments but still is straight.

 

Jungkook on the other hand is more confusing, especially his girlphobia. I myself am introverted and was a really shy kid, but even then I never straight up evaded the entire freaking gender I was (supposedly) attracted to. Also all those “he had a girlfriend in school†could be really just bearding (also he was like 15 then?)

I respectfully disagree with jjope being straight. i'm not gonna come with 1,000 receipts or anything but i've got a gut feeling he isn't straight. it has nothing to do with him having "flamboyant" moments. also, jungkook being "girlphobic" sounds a little harsh to me but i see what people mean.

I believe he also explicitly said he didn't love his male fans. Apparently, whenever female fans would say they love him and/or the group, he would respond back with an "i love you too" or something. Whenever male fans said they love him and/or the group, he said he couldn't/didn't love them back cause they're men. I guess saying "i love you too" or "thank you" is too much for him to say. It's sad really, especially since he is the leader. It makes him look like he dislikes male fans.

Im sorry but when a male idol is okay with a fanboy liking him is not the same at all as doing it with a female fans. Showing affection to a male fan mean the idol is open minded. (like for example winner was really welcome to their gay fanboy meanwhile Jb was being an homophobic asshole when a male fan said he did all the way to see him, he said " love isnt between two male" or smth like this.

Same for liking a gay artist, I don't know many straights guys liking gays artist. For example there are a guy who ditched Elten John when he discover he was gay. At least we know they are not homophobic.

Edit: especially Troye sivan, the majority of his fanbase are gay/ bi people. His music is very queerish. He use often male pronoum and refer to his boyfriend.

 

You are thinking of JUNHO from 2pm. Who in many ways IS a piece of shit. Jaebum never said anything like that. Junho is an asshole and explicitly said he couldn't be friends with Hong Seokcheon because he is gay. Fuck that guy.

I agree on JB. Siwon is still trash though and ESPECIALLY junho from 2pm. Dude is a straight up dick to the lgbt community. I'm surprised more people don't drag him here.

It hasn't, I categorized it more as entertainment but it's a fun moment! Basically this is classic Jinyoung. I can just see him chuckling away thinking about what to write and coming up with that just to mess with him, and JB's very confused face seems to say "why on earth is this your one personal fact" hah

JJP are really interesting. In all my years in kpop I've seen many a ship but sometimes when I think about how a real idol group couple would actually act, JJP comes very close. There's this constant underlying connection yet respectful distance between them but also this inexplicable tension, for such a long friendship, that people might miss completely because it's so subtle. They have wordless conversations with their eyes that their members are used to (Jackson describes them as yin and yang), they go on dates we only know about because of fanaccounts, and say some very sweet and casually intimate things that aren't over the top but speak of a beautiful partnership, such as:

 

“An indestructible relationship with Jinyoung; seems like our tombstones will be next to each other tooâ€

“Being close and being deep is different. No matter what I do I feel like Jaebum hyung can see right through meâ€

"The most important person for me, of course, it’s JB hyung! He taught me to live."

 

In the 10 years they've known each other, they've been apart for maybe 2 weeks. That's pretty touching really, regardless of how deep their soulmate-style bond goes! I don't think they're real but at the same time a part of me wouldn't be surprised in the slightest tbh.

 

Your spoiler nailed it. There's something different about them and i can't quite put my finger on it. I feel like most of their moments are more sincere than fan service. I wouldn't be too surprised if they were a thing. Regardless of whether they have/had something between them not entirely platonic, I have absolutely no doubt they will be a part of each other's lives for many, many years to come. I don’t normally ship or anything but I get the feeling that JR had/has some mega strong feelings for Ren. I don’t think ren minded either tbh. Idk if that’s still the same now. I personally think ren is gay (duh), JR is bi leaning towards women and the rest are straight.
