hi, this is my first time posting here (but i always come here to read/see what is being talked about). any of you is watching monsta x ray? if not, for a bit of context, each member is playing a part in their new reality show and i think minhyuk is the most into it. he's supposed to be the girl and wonho the guy (but its not explicitly said when they get their roles that the girl has to like the boy, or at least i dont remember, someone correct me if im wrong). it is just me that thinks minhyuk takes advantage of his mood maker/funny of the group image to do these things more freely?? like, most people are going to think he is just joking around etc etc (and he probably knows it), but i have a feeling its not the case all the time. what do you guys think?

look, minhyuk once again using humor, i think we have a pattern here. he did this another time too, but i can't find the gifs now. i know wonho's nipples kind of stand out, but he seems to pay extra attention to his body???? and i dont think im talking from a shipper view exaclty, because yes i ship them, but i also ship minhyuk with a lot of people and im honestly much more interested in how he chooses to express his sexuality and the times it comes out more unconsciouly, which i think are more rare, because from what i see from him he is a very controled and guarded person regarding a lot of stuff, but the ilusion of his image is completely the opposite.

i think this one is the most telling of all, i have watched a lot of of monsta x videos, and i think i've never seen him make an expression like the one he had in this video, it kind of really breaks my heart every time i see it. the other were joking around about it, but his face besides one gif is not enjoying it all and this is definitely not a face of someone who is disgusted by it, i honestly cant even put a name in the emotion i see in his face ugh ): i wonder how he really feels when he is not playing it up for the cameras, i guess we will never know.

im not even gonna talk about  the recent things in isac with jeonghan and others, but i think the way he behaves with him is also very telling (there seems to be a crush there). and i also think he has come a long way since his now mercy times (those last gifs are from that time) and i think he's much more comfortable in his skin.

 

i think that's all. from what i see most of the thread already thinks he is gay??? but i wanted to give my opinion too. in conclusion i think he is gay.

minhyuk is really not holding back these days, huh? im surprised that this keeps going on but at the same time im not because minhyuk is wild and he knows he can get away with it.

im really curious about jooheon tho, because he seems really comfortable with his members but in things like the celeb bromance with jackson he kinda gets hypermasculine sometimes and doesnt welcome it as much. it made me wonder if its some internalyzed homophobia/biphobia etc because of himself, or he is a little more conservative than the others (meaning the members of monsta x)...but idk something doesnt click.

Dedicated to people claiming Suga is bi/pan.

 

The common, I would even say mainstream, opinion here is that Suga is bi/pan. I'm writing this post because I think that this opinion is the one of the WRONGEST in this thread. I would like to apply to people who are stating such things and ask them (or you, if YOU are among them) a few questions.

Question #1.

Do you really think that BTS member (any of them, moreover, member of any k-pop band) could use in his song a line as, for example "my tongue can send only boys to Hong Kong" or could say during the interview "yes, ofc, i care about gender, i love only boys"? Do you really think it is possible? Don't you think that this man just gave light hints about his sexual orientation, because he can't say it directly, because, you know, it is KOREA and they are IDOLS? Just a little hint that "i have an interest in boys", because he COULDN'T say that he hasn't got interest in someone else.

I'm just wondering why most of you take things in such an easy way, like, all that people say or do is their 100% truth. No, guys, life is not that easy. Especially, if you are in Korea. Especially, if you are an idol.

Okay, some of you will say that "ofc no! it's not just about his words, he is spreading SUPER STRONG bi/pan vibes!". That's why the second question exists.

Question #2.

If you call Suga's vibes bi/pan vibes, what then you call gay vibes? No, seriously, sometimes it seems to me that people who talk about it simply have never seen Suga's acting, I would say even existing. Or, probably, they have never seen bi/pan males. Have you ever seen bi/pan males? Have you talked to them? If the answer is positive, is it similar to what you see in Suga living his everyday visible for us life? Don't, please, say, that you are a bi/pan woman, so you can feel these vibes. Bullshit. It's not connected in any of universes. To be honest, i think, people, who say such things are simply not really familiar with BTS and like to eat what they are fed or have a broken gaydar. Talking about any kind of vibes? Please, make a real research digging tones of photos, videos, gifs. Then talk.

 

Because I firmly believe that in BTS Suga has the strongest gay vibes. Even kings of homosexuality in this thread - Jimin and V - could be suspected in bi/pan vibes, but, seriously, NOT Suga.

you know, i've thought about this a lot and the only time i can remember yoongi was somehow affected by woman was in ahl, when they were shooting with those girls and he got incredibly shy and awkward, but nothing else comes to mind and we also dont see yoongi interacting with women almost never, i think???? i personally think he's bi/pan and leaning more towards men (but i found that theory of him being asexual that people where talking some pages ago really interesting too, but its much more difficult to pinpoint this with the material we have som im gonna go with bi/pan)

not gonna lie but as a gay man i find it really odd to see like people being negative towards not supporting confirmed straight couples. I mean I dunno I feel like there's a difference between a delusional straight fangirl wanting her OTP to be real to the point of ignoring other possibilities and actual LGBT people wondering if a person is closeted or entering into a lavender relationship. 

 

and with a lot of suspected non straight celebs being in dating scandals or confirmed relationships I just I dunno I find it something worth talking about. Plus it's not as if there's any damage about thinking an idol is non straight even if they end up being straight (or bi in a different sex relationship). And lately to me some seem to be almost forcing others to think that straight ships are real or that they're "wrong" for casting doubts. I dunno, it just really rubs me the wrong way. 

 

if a person doesn't think a straight ship is real bc of their ship or because they're convinced one or both parties are gay...it's not like it's hurting anything. straight people and straight couples aren't the ones being oppressed...

 

like we're here to discuss the possibility of non-straightness, not the possibility of straightness so I don't understand the focus as of late on trying to get people to believe in straight couples, whether they're real or not. Because like i said...there's enough straightness as it is, it's not like its a huge deal if people don't want to believe in a straight couple, because they're not the ones oppressed.

 

sorry if this sounds ranty, argumentative or makes no sense because I'm not trying to go for any of that. I just want to be able to come here as an LGBT person and, discuss these things without being shamed for not wanting to read heterosexuality into everything. And IDK lately, this place just hasn't really felt like that.

 

And its even worse now at a time where the LGBT community in korea is facing shit because of a proposed No Discrimination act that's being really shot down by a lot of christains ( gee does that sound familiar...)

i 100% agree too! i dont see the point of trying to "shut down" people's opinions just because you don't belive "x" ship is real, and even if the whole reason a person believes a couple isn't real is because of their ship (which i actually didnt see that much here) what is wrong with that? it's a valid reason as any other and if you don't like these topics you could just ignore it and make your posts about other things or idk just give your opinion about it without saying "these annoying shippers are exagerating once again"??? i mean its not harming anyone so i dont get the stress about it.

 

on another happy note, i've been watching a lot of knk videos and seugjun's obsession with jihun's butt is hilarious cute. every other video i watched he would talk about it lmao and he makes it seem like the cutest thing because of the way he is. i think that because he seems inocent people really dismiss his behavior a lot and just think about seungjun being his cute self and not about his attraction (not on here ofc), or am i wrong?

I would really be interested in knowing why Jinho? He always seemed to me as one of the straightest or lets say the one that has done the least amount of suspicious things. But i don't really put enough focus on him, maybe thats why and why i would love to hear your thoughts on him whatever they may be.

When it comes to Kino its the same with me. No concrete evidence just feelings. 

 

I went on a search and found a few things (its really not much) that i'm going to post under spoiler. Its really hard to find all the moments where he pinged, because usually you just watch these videos and don't remember when it all happened and usually nobody gifs them or anything. I'm happy that you agree with Hui. He definitely seems to be really chill about it and honestly if you just watch one of their videos or vlives (for example the one i posted under the spoiler) you will see how much he just loves to touch the others and hes also known for loving skinship. Hes definitely not the only one whos chill. I think right after him is e'dawn who may not initiate it as often as Hui but he doesn't mind at all getting kissed (or i think he is actually really happy about getting affection) and so on. I love these two together and their chemistry is just great. 

Then there is Hongseok... i'm also really suspicious about him but idk why exactly (he definitely seems very supportive and chill as well, and can also be quiet touchy and i noticed he loves to touch others faces? But this could really be just fanservice)

Those three + Kino are my main suspects but honestly some of the others have down some questionable things as well. Even if all my suspections are completely wrong i definitely get the feeling that they are all together atleast very lgbt friendly simply from some of the things they say and do.  

 

Sorry if i'm to heavily based on skinship. Don't be to hard on me. I know none of these are concrete proof and it shouldn't be seen as that, but just as maybe small small parts of it.

ok, about jinho, i was thinking to myself "who i think its not straight in this group" and he was one of the names that popped on in my head, i dont have a lot to go on because he seems more reserved in a way, so its hard to read him (this is me talking from a point where i've definitely not seem everything about the group so maybe im wrong about him being reserved).

 

i was watching this video of him doing girl group dances with kino, and after he does his performance, around 3:45, and the older guys start talking about him and saying he's cute he seems very shy and flustered about it and when kino talks he doesnt have the same reaction. since i dont understand korean idk what the guys were saying besides calling him cute, so maybe he was just shy about the situation in general but idk.

 

 

that yuto/kino video omg!!! they're so cute...and at the very first clip kino is casually filming yuto's chest, uh the thirst is real and kino seems very into everything that is happening (not that yuto isnt, but it feels different from kino's side, not saying he has feelings or something like that, but attraction, yes). and that gif with hongseok, he was ready to be given a kiss lmao he's really out there being surprisingly open with the skinship, and actually flirting lbr i think he's very flirty and seems to be absolutelly adored  by all the group (its cute!!).

i do think they seem like a very friendly lgbt group, and pretty chill, which is great, we always need more of that.

 

i handnt given a thought to hongseok until now, but im going to pay more attention to him from now on. the thing with pentagon is that they're so heavy with skinship that it ironically makes it more difficult to read them hahaha

This v-live was almost as gay as Dino's birthday V-live. And once again Jun and Seungkwan enjoy kissing their fellow members a little too much to not be considered at least bi IMO.
