my mom wants me to pee in a cup for her

My mom just got a job offer but she has to be drug tested for it. she smokes marijuana, like, all the time (illegally). I don't do any drugs so she came to my room and asked me, her 18 year old daughter, to pee in a cup for her.

it just... pisses me off (pun not intended). Pee sort of freaks me out and I have some weird moral issues with this request and it just seems so immature of her. She's of course mad at me for not liking the idea and she's making it seem like I'm OBLIGATED to pee in a cup for her so she can pass a drug test when she should have been responsible about it in the first place.

Sometimes i feel more mature than my mom and that's an upsetting feeling. Idk I'm just ranting because I'm grossed out and anxious; I know a lot of y'all won't see any problem with my mom's request but yeah...vgybhujnk

Tell her they sell powder pee on eBay.

The insane nitpick at drug use in the US is pretty crazy to watch from outside.

If you don't like it but will do it maybe tell her how you are unhappy to do it, you feel obligated because of her and tell her it shouldn't be your position (she is the adult indeed), make it clear, serious but calm, a bit cold. I would do it like that.

Well .. all of that are our personal advices but really ... do what makes YOU the most confortable with.
