Chinese government censors are cracking down on television programs that feature “tattoo artists, hip-hop culture, subculture (non-mainstream culture) and funeral culture (decadent culture),†according to news portal Sina. Rappers PG One and GAI, who were both featured on the massively popular show “Rap of China,†have been sanctioned for content that runs counter to Communist Party values. China just wants to ban all criticism of the government. When it comes to Chinese pop rap, they doesn't dis people, socal or politic. Even from Taiwan or Hong Kong pop. Taiwan or Hong Kong do have dissing but it will consider underground. A very niche market. Never been mainstream(in term of charting). It is alway oppas unnies saranghe rap from mainstream.
