There are three main districts - HK Island, New Territories, and Kowloon.I would recommend the following:

1) HK Island: Go to Admiralty, exit towards Hong Kong Park (it's a very beautiful park in Central HK), then take the peak tram to the Peak. You can see all of HK from there. Head back to downtown (I'd recommend going by bus to save money or you can get round-trip peak tram). Explore SoHo district. Also visit PMQ in Central district for art, souvenir, and cute cafes. Head to Causeway Bay (tons of shops between Times Square and Sogo shopping center). Then head to Victoria Park.

2) Lantau Island: Take the MTR to Tung Chung. Ride the Ngong Ping 360 cable car (I'd pay extra to ride the crystal car - it's transparent and really fun). You'd arrive in the Tian Tan Buddha district - tons of shops, and you can take the steps to the Tian Tan Buddha. And you can visit all the old temples too. Then take the mini bus back to Tung Chung to save money from the bus station. Or buy a round trip ticket to Tung Chung again

3) Cheung Chau - Go to MTR Central station, then change to Ferry to Cheung Chau. Tons of shops, restaurants, and you can enjoy the beaches, and Cheung Po Tsai Cave. You can also take a small boat in Cheung Chau for extra excursions around the small islands

4) Tsim Sha Tsui: MTR - Tsim Sha Tsui station - Great shopping district. Tons of shops near the ferry terminal. You can walk the Avenue of Stars and take pics near the evening and get a great view of HK island. Visit Heritage 1881 (it's like refurbished naval base). Then head to Mongkok for cheap street food and cheap markets (MTR station - Mongkok). I also really love the Langham Place shopping mall in Mongkok. It's gigantic with lots of cute independent shops for souvenirs.

If you have time:

- Ocean Park (great HK theme park - and you can see pandas and many Chinese animals. there are so kid area, and rides, and also the famous cable cars.

- Wong Tai Sin Temple: Very famous. Kinda out of the way. But you can pair it with Kowloon Tong where you can shop at Festival Walk (a huge shopping mall).

- Disneyland: It's kinda meh for me. But if you love Disney, there is Hong Kong only areas (like the Toy Story land etc.).

For Hong Kong Kpop events, I got my NU'EST Hong Kong Special Concert tickets from this IG account: https://www.instagram.com/tttttticket/I think APINK might have a concert in HK soon?

For official tickets, you can get them here: http://www.tickethk.com/concerts

HyunA is going March 10, Jessica March 3, Exo in June, Seonho Feb 7, KARD Feb 4, Super Junior Feb 10, nothing in April so far.... ;(

for kpop events happening in April, i think you have to wait around till mid Feb or early March for dates/shows announcement

Thank youuu :'*

The Script is gonna be in Hong Kong I think? Bruno Mars is also coming but he's going to be performing in Macau, but you can just take a ferry from Hong Kong to get there.

Thanks a lot for the info dear :'*

go to sai kung area, the park and the town center are very scenic and nice, a bit of a sea change from the hustle and bustle of kowloon.

I thought the Tian Tan Buddha was a boring tourist trap.

If you like history and/or museums, the Hong Kong history museum is excellent and was free when I visited (+ usually very cheap, if that promotion is not still going on. admission fees for all the HK museums are like $1 USD or something, nothing like the expensive fees at many western museums that I'm used to).

<3 <3 <3 I edited my post to include where you can buy Kpop tickets at the very very very bottom. So far, nothing in April ;( But sometimes they announce it really late. If you remind me in late Feb, I can check the website and translate it for you if you can't read Chinese :)
