I love my babies but i don't think they deserve it just yet? They are great with the choreo and stage presence but they barely sing live, even during their showcase they lipsynched most of their songs...Anyway congrats i just needed to get this off my chest.

Hi Mrs. Huang, I'd just like to point out that a lot more artists lipsynch than you think ^^ tbh.. in my opinion, around 90% of acts are miming nowadays on the weekend music shows, with pre-recorded vocals. A lot of people might kill me for this but as a 100% die-hard Sone, I don't think Soshi ever had 1 completely live performance of Mr.Mr. on a broadcast television music show. Not even sketchbook :O sue me (but Goodbye on sketchbook was live).. the only difference with EXO is that now they don't even bother to record vocals beforehand and they just perform with the album audio anyways LOL

I prefer to compare them with the Best and i think that for Exo there is still room for improvement as performers, as for now they aren't the best in this departement, i mean come on they very rarely sing live and that's what a performer is for, fans don't go to the concert to listen to the CD. I think it's a shame that lipsynching has become so common...I wish they put less emphasis on the choreo so it wouldn't be so hard for Exo to sing live too

Until all of EXO as a whole gets better at singing, I feel like the performance would be compromised by their sub-par live vocals. They can either dance hard and lipsynch or they sing live and dance with less vigour, because I don't think they're at SHINee's level yet (they still need to go through 6 Taemin transformations lol).

They do sing live a lot, but I definitely understand where you are coming from if that were the case. There is still room for improvement as always. Don't think I'm attacking you or anything, btw. You can listen to these and determine if they are deserving of it or if they're not quite there yet. IMO, they are close, but not quite there as yet when it comes to the singing. What makes them go over the top for me is how organic their performances are, which makes them a lot more interesting to watch than many.

Yeah, it's a bit tricky because I feel like by not letting them sing live SM isn't helping them to get better at it but at the same time tho only a few of them can do it well with the heavy dancing. The tour would be a good opportunity to let them get more used to and confortable with singing live but I'm not against them lip-synching in TV performances for now.

Unfortunately Exo singing live isn't common occurence as compared to some other groups like SHINee, I know they sing live sometimes, hell Miracles in december promotion including Christmas day was mostly in live, but the frequency of them singing live still isn't enough for me, i understand that can be tired, maybe not quite ready yet with their new songs but i really wish they would sing live more often, them singing live is very rare this days in particular, i can accept it for music shows (some shows only do playback anyway) but on concerts and showcases i think it's too much.

I am sorry for bringing this up in this thread though i should have just put this opinion of mine in the rant thread, because now i am just bringing negativity on a thread about a new achievement for Exo as if they weren't bashed enough on OH.
