Do you think DIA is lacking in song quality?

I see comments everywhere like DIA is lacking in song quality compared to other new generation groups, although they have amazing choreos and nice MV's and I have to admit tbh

They are still looking for a concept and it's not helping them that they always have member changes

Somehow is still my favourite song of them and I also like WYGOWM and Mr.Potter

I hope they go away from school uniform and take these concepts again

What do you think?

Love Generation is a really nice album... i think it's just the fact that people hate chaeyeon taking the spotlight all the time and mostly MBK's mediaplay (or just the company in general)

im happy because yebin seems to be doing well in the unit! i really like DIA's songs tbh

I think it's true that basically their side tracks are always better than their titles in every comeback so far

People need to listen to their debut album, YOLO and Love Generation before judging their music quality

I think it’s more a mixture of things, while yes they hardly “stand out†from most other girl groups that aren’t national top 5 it’s not because they lack quality. To me their music is somewhat inconsistent but that could also be because they lack a solid concept or direction (a lot of GGs, even big ones, occasionally lack that cohesion but have a big enough presence on varieties or online etc that it barely matters). I just think ppl expect a lot because The “root†of the group was in I.0.I but it really doesn’t help that their company just doesn’t push them as they should or really seem to have any major plans for them. Individual talent and personality can only make it so far when your company won’t put their money/faith in you.

Compared to other gg of this generation, their music is really fine. In fact they worked with some of the same producers. In some vlive they showed us the process, really interesting. Will you go out with me? was a bonus they prepared for their first concert in dec 2016, with other subunit and solo songs But it was too good for not rework it, and it became their title track of Yolo album. The new version was really strange to listen at first, but became quickly a fave pic in my tracklist. They even invented some heart move, iconic now.

They just need another bop to confort their recognition. I think Love Generation album has many good tracks. I see more people interested in them, and I hope The Unit (no matter the result) get them more support, not only for being a pre-post IOI group or T-ara sister group.

I might appreciate less cutesy concept for title track, like some other of their side track, but it's a up to the Korean public taste. Actually it's their target, not ifan.
