If your bias group were set to disband like IOI/W1, who would you support in the aftermath?

I've only ever had one bias group at a time, from SNSD -> IOI. But with the disbandment, that got turned upside down for me and I found myself pulled all over the place. Honestly it's almost impossible to like all members equally, you're bound to follow/support some more than others.

Follow all updates and watch everything they're in: Sejeong and Yoojung. I like Sejeong just barely a smidge more than Yoojung, but like WeMe a smidge more than Gugudan.

Follow all updates and watch most of their material: Doyeon and Somi.

Follow all updates but don't watch a good amount of material: Chaeyeon, Pinky, Mina, Chungha.

Loosely follow updates but might miss or forget some things: Nayoung, Sohye, Yeonjung.

If this situation happened with your bias group, who would you keep up with?

good question. i'm actually on my last leg as a kpop fan, cause at one point i've got to accept i'm too old for this

i'm older than most kpop groups tbh, and i promised myself to leave kpop once i reach the stage where idols have to refer to me as "fartsniffer-nim" as opposed to currently "fartsniffer-oppa"

OMG disbanding would be the end of my kpop adventure

Well from my personal experience... after IOI my life just become a mess and I support all the groups the way I can during their comebacks, but I didn't join any of the fandoms. I was always a Wonderful and with the lack of Wonder Girls I started stanning IOI, after both their disbandments, WG ofc remains my ultimate group and I fully support all the members with their solo works, but with IOI since there's so many groups and many girls I try to support at least my biases work the most (specially Sohye that is my #1 but she's not doing much for now), but basically I found out how it is to be multifandom kind of lol

Also many people saying on quitting kpop and stuff, IOI was a turning point for me because if it was not them I would've quit too, but even after their disband I got interested again on other things that were not about WG and Lovelyz.

Nct: Taeyong, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Mark. Ten if he stays in Korea because it will be hard keeping up with his activities in Thailand.

Mamamoo: All Mamamoo members equally at the beginning but my attention will gradually be directed towards whichever one of them makes the kind of music I like the most.

Day6: Jae

Red velvet: Seulgi

With IOI by now I already forgot about them except for Chaeyeon, Chungha and maybe Somi, I loved IOI as a group and I can't invest myself in the members when they are now part of a group I do not like, them being on groups I dislike made me lose all interest I had in them, but I love DIA, I love seeing Chungha as a soloist and I don't know, maybe i'll like Somi's group.

If Red Velvet was an IOI-esque group I would obviously continue supporting Joy, and I would continue supporting Wendy as well I think, for the other members it honestly depends of what they would go for, I have interest on them as members of Red Velvet and exclusively as members of Red Velvet, what they do independently from the group is not something that really interests me because Irene is mostly MCing and CFs, Seulgi doesn't do much aside from some minor music projects, and Yeri really don't get anything from SM so I don't have any clue what would she do outside of RV aside from taking a journey to become a music composer.

Something similar to this fictional scenario happened when 2ne1 disbanded, I loved 2ne1 as a group and loved all of the members, but I didn't have much interest in what they do independently from the group so by the time they disbanded I ended up drifting away from the members after multiple months passed because I didn't think there was much left to stan, I hold them dearly inside my head for how much I loved them though, they carried me through hard times and I will always be fond of the memories I have of being a fan of them, same goes for IOI, and same will go for RV when their time comes in around possibly 7-10 years (The average total lifetime for a kpop group), supposing i'm still a kpop fan when that happens.

I think when Red Velvet disbands kpop is over for me, I will be a grown ass adult with a life of my own and maybe even with a family.
