What kind of song/concept do you guys want DMTN to have for their next comeback?

 

I want them to have PBR&B style mid-tempo song with soft rapping and a falsetto bridge. I know that's very specific lol. I hope they continue working with Duble Sidekick. and/or a good Japanese or American producer. I do not want them to have the typical kpop sound (but they have only had one song like that anyway). As for the concept, I don't really care as long as its not cute.

Probably.     It's not like we have anything else to discuss, really.

 

They're all laying low, even on SNS. And I dunno about anyone else, but I can only summon so much interest in Donglim's selcas.

The last we've heard about Daniel is that he won his appeal, so he won't be going to jail.

Unfortunately, there's still been no news at all about plans for, or the future of, the group as a whole.

In other somewhat related news. MC Mong just recently signed a contract with Wellmade Yedang, Girl's Day's label. Wouldn't it be awesome if they picked up DMTN too?

If we get any news it will probably have to be directly from the guys. I think the company just jumped ship tbh. The most we can hope for is that what is left of DMTN will form a new group but I don't know if they have the resources for that. They all still communicate.  Jeesu retweets Simon. As you can see that's Jeeswag Jeesu with Dari in the first picture (maybe I'm just dumb because I saw the picture twice before I realized it was him). Both Jeesu and Inati went to that UNDERSTAND event. I guess they're promoting/supporting the dance crew VLACK SQUAD or maybe they are in the dance crew I'm not sure.

 

I saw that about Mongie. I doubt they'll pick up DMTN, sadly, but I could see Mong putting at least some of them to work on his next album for featurings or turning up in a video or the like.

 

I can see them supporting the dance crew. (maybe Donglim's part of it?) People Crew started as a dance crew, and Inati came out of the later iteration of that, but I'm not sure he himself was ever one of the dancers and we all know the other members in DMTN teased him for not being very good in that area.

Oh and I agree with what you said about Inati in that last picture. Inati is scary when he's not smiling. Fortunately he likes smiling!

I thought Inati did some breakdancing stuff when he was younger lol. I'm sure his back is too bad for that kind of stuff even though he has the appearance of youth and vitality.

 

Well here's a picture of VLACK SQAUD. I wasn't going to post it since nobody looked familiar but then again it took me forever to realize that was Jeesu with Dari.

Jisu toward the back on the right (3rd in, between the two guys in black t-shirts, with the hat and white shirt)? Standing the same way, his arms tucked the same way, as in the Darisu photo above?

 

Google and google translations of tweets seem to indicate Jisu is part of this dance crew.

I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be there. Dari took over his lines. Maybe he was sick or had some other place to be but I wish he were performing with them

Jisu sharp jawline is gone! All of his weight gain went to his face because his body still looks slim.

And did you see him mouthing all of those bad words in the lyrics when he was dancing?

 

I'm just happy to see he's keeping busy. And glad that he's still singing. Would be a terrible shame to let that voice go to waste.

 

He has one of those faces where any puffiness from lack of sleep or eating the wrong thing is very noticeable.

It looked like he nailed the dances, at least.

Yeah Jisu sounded incredible! Simon too! Its amazing how they haven't gotten rusty at all.

I had no idea that they were going to be performing those songs. It seemed to rehearsed to be spur of the moment. I hope they can come together like this again (next time with Inati included)

 

I suspect Jisu is one of those people who sings all the time, even if it's just under his breath.

And let's face it. They've had plenty of time to practice.

Simon seems to be doing well as a producer.

I have no idea what Inati is up to, other than the occasional modeling gig with Vagx and posting scripts on his IG, so he's maybe auditioning a lot?

Donglim seems like he's spending a lot of time at the gym?

 

And I'm actually happy for Jisu. He's working with Kim Taewoo, who is one hell of a singer himself, so he can do a lot more for Jisu and his vocals than most companies could. He also said something about seeing Jisu back on stage by the end of the year.

One of the biggest Jisu fangirls on tumblr calls him Jeechunk.

Don't forget that he was a chubby kid. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a nervous eater and when they went on hiatus... well, there was probably not a lot to do but be nervous for awhile.

I'm very sad to hear that they disbanded... Well I was kind of expecting it, because Daniel changed his instagram username. He was the one who gave the accronym DMTN a meaning right ? I liked it a lot.

Even if they are separated, they are still a family. They are all doing things they want to do right now and this is enough for me. They are all in different domains now, but I hope the ones who stay in the music industry will work together, even if it's just once.

 

I wish Jisu the best in his new group, I'm happy we will be able to hear his beautiful voice again. I don't know who Kim Taewoo is but I'll trust Jisu to him ^^

He's a very capable singer in his own right, so it makes sense for someone like him to pick up Jisu, rather than another company that wouldn't know what to do with Jisu's range.

Plus I rather hope KTW pushes him into training his voice so his vocals stabilize. He has a lot of potential, but he's always felt a little hesitant and uneven compared to Daniel, and I don't think it's just the difference in range.

Okay, I'm just going to say I'm alarmed by those two clips.

I don't think he IS doing so well. Either he's having a hard time (thus the trying not to cry vid) or he's looking for attention (thus *posting* the crying not to cry vid), and the latter would also indicate the former. Follow that up with a clip of him *emptying* a clip... and I'm more than a little worried for the maknae.

There are literally no guy groups that come close filling the void Dalmatian left.

I don't come across guys groups that have both strong vocalists and rappers with no dead weight members and are good looking in a manly way and don't have any members born after like 93.

 

Inati ages in reverse, this is known.

 

I'm a fan of lots of groups, but I only consider myself a part of two fandoms.

Dalmatian and Shinhwa.

He was in the studio working on one of them when the brain hemorrhage happened.

 

I was hoping he'd make an appearance on Mong's Miss Me or Diss Me album, but it doesn't seem like it.

Yeah, it was in one of their variety shows - they all had to take turns sitting in front of the camera while the other members (and Janggeun and Haha) basically gave them crap. The idea generally being that as idols, they would need to grow a thick skin for what other people would say about them. And that was one of the things they said about Inati. His thick eyebrows and horseface and he's a bad dancer.

 

I call Jisu the energizer bunny because he's so often bouncy and just vibrating with energy and he's (almost) always excited and happy.
