Im being super optimistic about this because DMTN never said hey disbanded and 2works never said they released DMTN.

I did see his IG update but I didn't know what what going on in that picture (other than his mustard sweater looking really warm and comfy). Now that you mention it, it does look like a script. If so I'm glad he's getting roles!

I been listening to 'Hurt Me' a lot these past couple of days. The other songs on State of Emergency always overshadowed 'Hurt Me' at first but now I love it as much as the others if not more! Daniels voice just slays me so much in that damn song. He's really good at belting and adlibs and conveying emotion

I dunno, Dan has a pretty squishy baby face and he was quite buff for ER. Jisu also has a squishy face.

It's only the hyung line that's outgrown all the squishy-face (and they went straight to chiseled).

Yeah Daniel surprised the hell out of me because he got really buff. I feel he had the most dramatic transformation physically. Whereas Jisu and Donglim just got more leaner/cut.

If you're referring to all the selcas he took in the gym... yeees. He still has no butt to speak of ( ), but he is certainly staying in shape.

Also, I do not really get motion sick, but he insists on posting blurry photos and it makes my eyes burn.

LOL I thought I was the only one that noticed!

Looking at him from the front you'd think he would have one but he doesn't. And its not because he doesn't work out his lower half because he has amazing calves (see Round 1 teaser), he just don't have the glutes lol

What kind of song/concept do you guys want DMTN to have for their next comeback?
 

I want them to have PBR&B style mid-tempo song with soft rapping and a falsetto bridge. I know that's very specific lol. I hope they continue working with Duble Sidekick. and/or a good Japanese or American producer. I do not want them to have the typical kpop sound (but they have only had one song like that anyway). As for the concept, I don't really care as long as its not cute.

http://www.dmtn.co.kr/ is down too, both sites were up when I checked a month ago. I have a sinking feeling

Please let them just be updating the sites or whatever.

This is my first time in the DMTN thread (I think)

But I've been a dalmate since ER and I seriously miss these boys!

I was on twitter and I realised that Simon changed his username to @simonjakops

And apparently he's now a producer going by the name Jakops ?!

I'm so confused right now.... Does this officially mean that Simon is already moving on?

 

Apparently he produced a track for Ailee's Japanese album called 'Love'

Well Simon has been producing for a while even when DMTN was still active and also before he joined DMTN. DMTN don't have activities currently its expected that he would be off doing other things, so I wouldn't take his user name change as a reason to beleive that he's officially moving on. Its kinda like when Jeesu changed his from Jeeswag or whatever it was to Hommageboss.

 

Trying to figure out what Jakops is. Probably his name as a producer. Looks like Japan/Korea Productions or something, which would make sense since he's Japanese and Korean.

 

But still...I can't help thinking negative things. The future of DMTN is becoming more and more bleak. I just wish they put out an official statement and put Dalmates out of their misery

Why are they prolonging this?

I know this doesn't help to ease your worries but even daum cafes of disbanded groups stay up, so that doesn't really say much.

I'm hoping they're just changing up the site. it could be anything. They could be updating the site, the company could be merging with a new company, DMTN could be changing their name to something else (again) for a new image, so it doesn't necessarily mean something bad is going to happen. Sorry for causing you worry. I'm a pessimist because 2013-2014 hasn't been good for my faves.

In other somewhat related news. MC Mong just recently signed a contract with Wellmade Yedang, Girl's Day's label. Wouldn't it be awesome if they picked up DMTN too?

If we get any news it will probably have to be directly from the guys. I think the company just jumped ship tbh. The most we can hope for is that what is left of DMTN will form a new group but I don't know if they have the resources for that. They all still communicate.  Jeesu retweets Simon. As you can see that's Jeeswag Jeesu with Dari in the first picture (maybe I'm just dumb because I saw the picture twice before I realized it was him). Both Jeesu and Inati went to that UNDERSTAND event. I guess they're promoting/supporting the dance crew VLACK SQUAD or maybe they are in the dance crew I'm not sure.

 

Which type of baseball league does Simon play in?  Intramural?  Minor?

I saw that about Mongie. I doubt they'll pick up DMTN, sadly, but I could see Mong putting at least some of them to work on his next album for featurings or turning up in a video or the like.

 

I can see them supporting the dance crew. (maybe Donglim's part of it?) People Crew started as a dance crew, and Inati came out of the later iteration of that, but I'm not sure he himself was ever one of the dancers and we all know the other members in DMTN teased him for not being very good in that area.

Oh and I agree with what you said about Inati in that last picture. Inati is scary when he's not smiling. Fortunately he likes smiling!

I thought Inati did some breakdancing stuff when he was younger lol. I'm sure his back is too bad for that kind of stuff even though he has the appearance of youth and vitality.

 

Well here's a picture of VLACK SQAUD. I wasn't going to post it since nobody looked familiar but then again it took me forever to realize that was Jeesu with Dari.

Google and google translations of tweets seem to indicate Jisu is part of this dance crew.

Those VagX pictures are everything. I know modeling is more of Inati and Dari's thing but I wish the rest of the boys would be modeling with them

 

Inati and Dari have a good rapport with Vagx because they're consistently getting modeling jobs with them even  though they have not done anything as idols in a year, well 3 years for Dari.

 

I say we spam their instagrams saying we want DMTN comeback so they know the demand is still there. Dalmates are very passive, always have been.

I'm just happy to see he's keeping busy. And glad that he's still singing. Would be a terrible shame to let that voice go to waste.

 

He has one of those faces where any puffiness from lack of sleep or eating the wrong thing is very noticeable.

It looked like he nailed the dances, at least.

Yeah Jisu sounded incredible! Simon too! Its amazing how they haven't gotten rusty at all.

I had no idea that they were going to be performing those songs. It seemed to rehearsed to be spur of the moment. I hope they can come together like this again (next time with Inati included)
