Jisu bowl cut definitely was a bowl cut well done in that man opposed :33

tumblr_liz9el76C81qd62eeo1_500.jpg

that looks cute on him  :chu:

I like him better with the short dark hair... but I *really* prefer his TMO and Lover Cop hair to the ER mess. It might have been okay if it had just been a really wide mohawk... but the back of it made it some kind of nasty mohawk-mullet and that is just NOT OKAY. EVER.

EV.AR.

NO.

^Yeah...it could be worse. I just hate any kind of bowl cuts. They are only cute on kids in my opinion :twitch:

I think its cute how Dari's Instagram is iamdari and Inati's is iaminati. It makes me wonder if it was Dari that got Inati to join Instagram :stare:

I dunno if Intae took his IG down or what, but I get a page not found error now. :wth:

^You're right!

It was @iaminati then he changed to @iam2nati and now I guess his IG is no longer

On that note, there's been a lot of InatixDari bromance.

Edit: Nvm I found it. Its still there!

Ugh I didn't know the little shit switched it yet again. >_< PICK A NAME AND KEEP IT YOU PUTZ

This is the THIRD ONE.

It was iamintai THEN iaminati and now iam2nati? :unimpressed:

^He just can't seem to make up his mind. He should have left it a iaminati. Maybe he's trying to throw off Dalmates :ninja:

Because he didn't even tweet about changing it the third time :donthinkso:

I dunno. The first time, he changed it right away since he just misspelled it. This one was deliberate, so it's just weird.

OMG! Sorry i havent been here today! omo! i got caught up watching korean and japanese movies. I just watched the korean movie "Sunny" and i havent cried so much in a while.

Anyway,Honestly, when DMTN first came out i didnt like Inati-oppa at all. I didnt think he was cute at all neither....................but i take back everything i ever thought or said! I was such a horrible person! Why or why? Inati-oppa is a hot sexy beast! How could i have said those words. lol

I'm making this weekend into a movie weekend - catching up on things I wanted to see but never got around to. 3 day weekends huzzah!

Oh, don't worry about it. His face is very changeable based on (particularly) his hair style and styling. He's beautiful most of the time, but there are a couple of photos of him that I don't find appealing at all. I chalk it up to 'everybody has bad photos.'

Ugh, I wish my sister was like yours, one major fact: every chick ain't meant to be popping out kids just because her reproductive organs enable her to do so. My sister needs her damned tubes tied!!

I'm actually super proud of Simon and I am really glad to see that he is spending his time productively! He is an amazing type of person, I'm glad we at least always know what he is up to.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that, too. His definition has changed drastically. From that one gif where he is shirtless with the rest of the band members and compared to that video, the difference is sooooo obvious. Lol, I'm obviously no fitness expert, but I could see his body definitely changed. I LOVEEEED his body in that video, *fap* His body was soo on point. Still is, tbh.

I'm convinced that if you're a good pet owner (primarily dogs), you'll be a better parent - dogs require dedication and training and do best with a schedule... all things that are true with kids, too - which isn't surprising, as dogs are considered mentally about the same as toddlers, I think.

My sister was always the one who trained our family dogs, so it came as no real surprise to me that she's a good mom, too. She follows through if she makes a promise or a threat, so her kids have learned not to push her, because they won't win. :)

Simon - yeah, I'm glad he's active and out there. He made the comments when they were on hiatus and he was doing all the solo stuff - the guest appearances on various stages - that at least if he was out there working, it helped keep Dalmatian out there, too. I know the athleticism is his thing anyway, but he's still doing the same now  - keeping Dalmatian out there, and in a positive way.

I think we've discussed this on AKP, Celeste - I find Simon's too-chiseled body kind of off-putting. Inati in that teaser isn't *quite* as ripped, which still makes me bite my lip, but his body in that gif from earlier, from the DalmaTV episode... that just inspires mad lust in me.

OMG why does Inati wear that dog tag? That bugs me!!!

I love him with long hair, it looks so sexy around his neck lol! That look seriously flatters him.

And omg, thats one of my favorite images of him, his eyes are magnificent in that pic. His bangs allow them to be highlighted.

Definitely! I see people care for dogs so well and they make awesome parents. Caring for a dog is also an incredible responsibility. Before, I had no idea, but it's good training for those who want to become parents. My cousin and his wife are just like that, it's just so sad that they can't have children :/

Simon is absolutely right, it does keep the positive image going for DMTN. Tbh, I'm glad to be able to see Simon in his "normal" self. This is also a good way to divert attention from the controversy. Between him and Inati, along with Dari maybe, what they're doing is enough to keep the attention elsewhere.

Tbh, while I'm a sucker for abs, I honestly do love Inati's body the way it is now. His shoulders/chest area look really sexy and defined in its own way.

Dogs - I only get upset when people get dogs with the express purpose of 'testing' their parenting abilities. You get a dog because you want a dog and are ready for the challenge, the expense, and taking care of another living being for the course of its life, not as a test case for whether or not you can function as a responsible adult.

Dari - I'm glad he's staying under the radar. Considering he did public service and how netizens feel about that lately... >_>

Abs - While I appreciate his abs, I am more enthusiastic about shoulders, chest, and arms particularly. Oh man his arms... :twitch:  The only time I've had feels for Daniel, it's been because of his arms.

Intae's eyes. *'scuse me while I trawl tumblr for the photos I'm thinking of - will edit those in when I find them*

This is not the one I was thinking of, but lookit that face!

Puppy eyes!

^^^ I'll do whatever you want, just stop looking at me like that!

On another note, I've seen this one before...

Yeah.......Jeesu-oppa in the air is no shock. I just love how Daniel is ignoring it though. XD

His puppy eyes are to die for!~ OMG! I'd do anything you want oppa! OMO~ All those boys in that photo are younger than he is,but yet he looks like he can be around the same age as all of them. He's taken a bath in the fountain of youth again~ O.O (OMG,one of the members from WONDER BOYZ!~ The guy with the perm. lol)

And since we're pix spamming....doesnt Daniel look amazing? Like super flawless.tumblr_mne0tfF7sw1s729ono1_500.jpg

One of the others is from Big Star, I think. Feeldog (terrible, terrible stage name)? They ended up with quite a few idols on Bit of Love.

That is a nice photo of Dan. Still hate the hair, but his arms... are nearly perfect.

 That's Jisu?

zomg that's just too cool. You need to have skills to jump that high and have a straight leg kick!  :stare:

seriously, I'm leaning towards him to be my bias in DMTN. lol  :ahmagah:  No one has dibs on him right?  :har:

That hair  :har:

Lol ... just looking at this posture makes my hip-bones feel sore .......... How does Daniel even do it  :wth:

***

On another note, I love how synchronized they are in their choreo.

It speaks of the many hours and hard work they put in in their practices.

Ugh, I want them to succeed and get well-recognized for their effort so badly, alakjdflkas.

The only really Jisu biased person I can think of is on the AKP forums and hasn't taken refuge here, so I think you're safe. You do have to take good care of him, though, because he is my bias as a noona (thus why it gets awkward when I get non-noona feels for him). I am protective of our energizer bunny. *nodnod*

Yeah, that last photo of Dan... that requires some doing, to sleep in a position like that. But I suppose they're always sleeping when they can, so maybe it's a learned behavior. Then again, he's said he can sleep all day long if nobody wakes him up, so maybe it really is just him.

You feels have been felt. I want DMTN to expand and maybe come to america to like a con or something. lol

The problem with promoting in the US, though, is how widespread everybody is. It's why multi-artist concerts are only in NY and LA (ish) - huge population centers and all... but thousands of dollars and thousands of miles for those of us NOT on a coastline... which is the majority of the country. They don't even come to Chicago, which is by far the biggest population center in the midwest. :omgwtf:

*sighs*

If only ...

too bad they have been having bad luck since their debut ... i.e bad promotions since their debut, DayDay leaving (but Simon came in so I guess it's okay ..), MC Mong case, the marijuana case .. it's just too much

How high of possibility do you guys think that they can make a comeback ?

Don't worry, I will take extra careful of him. :ilove:

He can be so dorky.

and oh so hot as well:

akjdsklfja <3 I'm serious about this guys!

JISU IS MY BIAS IN DMTN NAO.  :fyeah:

LOL. Our dorky Daniel :3<3

I love sleeping too. I can sleep all day like you Daniel! Thus we should sleep together <3 (as in with our clothes on) :wut:

They'll definitely make a comeback eventually. The question is whether or not they'll ever get beyond 'nugu' status. :._.:

That too. Its depressing to think about it,but it could be half true. Im pretty sure DMTN will work hard to get their names out there. ^^

It is, in general, a bad situation for groups that have debuted in the last few years. The industry is SO flooded and the songs follow trends instead of doing their own thing, so the stand-out groups are few and far between.

DMTN at least has songs that don't sound like every other song out there, and a wide range of vocals (I can't think of anybody else in kpop that has Jisu's upward range), but it seems to hurt them that they *don't* follow trends... and that they always have a long hiatus between releases makes it worse. They're coming up on 3 years since debut and they have two mini albums and a digital single and that's it (and this other album - likely another mini - that's presumably done, but we probably won't hear anything about it until much later in the year if at all this year).

I don't really think BAP is making stand-out music, but they're constantly promoting. Fans may want them to take a break before they all collapse, but it's certainly worked in getting them a pretty big fandom and keeping them in the public eye.

Our boys need to find a balance between those things if they want to do any better than they currently are.  Keep the quality music, but promote more often (there's more than one song on a mini-album - promote the lead track, have a couple of weeks or a month off the stage, promote a second track). Try to get Jisu on Immortal Song or something so more of the public is aware that there is *talent* in this group. The next idol special on Running Man, try to get Simon on it; it would be great fun to watch him compete with the super competitive Minho and/or Yonghwa - this shouldn't be so very difficult - Haha knows them, he's buddies with Mongie, Intae, and Janggeunie.

Pretty much what you wrote at the first paragraph.

I'm the same kind of dalmate as you (though I think this is particularly true to ALL Dalmates) - the kind that we won't disappear regardless of whether they;re coming back or not and/or whether they will gain success or not.

We like Dalmatian not because of their popularity, but for the individual persons that makes up DMTN and DMTN as a whole. And of course, their music :)

It's just, I feel frustrated, still. I mean, their efforts are not being recognized! But I guess what Yahnati said as quoted below is a major reason why: promotion. Promotion is the main-key here. I mean, 3 years and we get 2 minis and 1 digital single. Ugh. I will be forever waiting for a full-length album. /sobs. But I'll be waiting nonetheless. haha.

And tbh, I don't like BAP. .__. Could never get into them. Though I love Block B.

Running Man! Why didn't I think of that .. aklsdjfal. It'd be so awesome seeing Simon in RM  :lub:

But yeah, promotion via being on variety shows is a must. Basically we just need to get them out there .

Jisu can do some MCing roles. He's really good at oral speaking and has a fun personality so being an MC would be a piece of cake for him. And oh, IS2 as well! I wanna to see him flaunt his falsetto, aha.

Simon is athletic as he can be so shows like RM would suit him really well ..

Intae and Donglim, i want them to model, do photoshoots and dramas! Haha.

Dari .. not pretty sure about him yet but maybe collaboration with other rappers (?)

But yeah, one day ..... *hopes*

and yay! 1000th day already? the 28th I believe? Congrats DMTN!

Delphinite made this vid commemorating their 1000th day, so cute:

I admit it, I got a little misty watching that.

Yeah, I have no idea where Donglim's talents lie so I can't really guess what he might do.

Dari apparently used to be an underground rapper; he could keep putting out his own music and bring some underground credibility to the group, especially if they do go back a little more hip-hop. He could also do feature work on other albums, with solo artists.

Intae can hopefully keep getting acting gigs and work his way up to what he's talked about - the male lead's best friend in a comedic role. I kind of think it's adorable that he doesn't dream of being the lead, but more of the wacky sidekick.

Now I am feeling left out because I don't have a bias.

How high is the possibility that they're coming back? I'm nearly 100% sure that they are coming back. Now whats the possibility that they are coming back with Daniel and/or Dari? I'm not 100% sure on that one, and that's the thing I'm worried about. Now that Dari is out of the military I don't want DMTN to be 5 members and I definitely don't want them to be 4 members (that would be the worst case scenario at this point). DMTN is 2works cash cow. Even if they end up being only a 4 membered group, I don't think 2works would abandon them. I could see that happening if DMTN were still rookies but they're too much of an asset to get rid of. Even if 2works dropped them they have enough popularity for another agency to want to sign them. They're probably not able to go independent (free of an agency) like Rain did though.

Oh thanks and for the OP btw. I just realized that you're the thread starter.

Yeah Its like they take 2 steps forward and 1½ steps backward. Something always comes up and makes them lose momentum.

Here's what they need to do. DMTN or 2Works, if on the off chance that you are reading this, take notes:

  • When they come back they are really going to have to promote like crazy and do a follow up promotion like really soon and simultaneously work on the next album and get that out quickly. They also need to be on an OST.
  • Jeesu needs to be hosting or appearing on more variety shows like Star King (Maybe even Simon on Star King because I notice they re-invite idols who are good at a lot of things).
  • The vocalists need to appear on 1000 songs challenge (its a popular show even for those that don't follow idols).
  • They need their own show so that the general public can become reacquainted with them or appear on an already popular show like Hello Baby, Sesame Player, or We Got Married.
  • Youngwon should get into acting.
  • Inati should continue acting (it would be awesome if he could have a movie role).
  • Simon should continue being featured on songs by other artists and participate in every Idol Olympics (because those things brought a lot of attention to DMTN).
  • If Dari is returning I'm not really sure what he could do. He just might be one of those members that don't do anything significant outside of the group. Maybe he can be featured on other songs. He could also befriend more celebrities (all of his friends are either underground peeps or nobodies to the public eye). Maybe he could continue doing mix tapes and be one of those people that do their idol thing and their underground thing (like Block B's Zico).
  • I know Dalmates aren't going to approve of this particular idea but it might not be a bad idea to promote a sub-unit. I'm thinking of a duo similar to Tasty that's very strong on the dancing. There's been a trend of subunit duos for girls but there hasn't been any male subunit duos (and Tasty isn't even a subunit). Definitely Simon should be a part of it and another member (I'm thinking Youngwon for some reason because he is similar in height to Simon, he can dance very well, and he can sing). .
  • I don't know if Daniel has a future with hosting and acting and that makes me sad, I thought maybe he could participate in some kind of campaign against drug use, but I think that would just make people angry and call him a hypocrite. Instead, he should either lay low or put it out there that while he doesn't condone drug use, he isn't perfect and makes mistakes. Maybe a public apology. Not really sure about what Daniel should do to be honest.

The vocal line DID 1000 Songs Challenge. -_- Not long before the scandal happened. They also appeared as a group on a music showcase show - with Duble Sidekick, since it was a producer special (Janggeun works SO hard for them and I honestly thinks he saves his best songs for them).

Inati's been on the Vitamin show (sort of a health education show, from what I could gather; they feature guests from different fields of entertainment and give them thorough physicals and then discuss their results - Intae was in 2nd best shape; the first place person was younger, a frontman for a rock band, a fitness buff, and a musical performer).

Jisu and... someone... were on a quiz show.

They were doing really, *really* well on the publicity front. 2works was busting their asses to get them proper exposure to the general public, not just kpop fans... and then the scandal happened and basically, all that effort was for nothing.

I'm worried that the event in Japan at the end of next month is going to be their 'test run' to see if they can make it work without Daniel. And as much as I adore them, I don't honestly think they can. Dan is the vocal spine of the group. But I wouldn't really be surprised if he decided to withdraw from the group and come back to the States. I don't *want* him to... because I don't see them making it without his voice, and it simply won't feel like Dalmatian without the squishy maknae... but everybody knows by now that him staying makes the road forward much steeper than it already was. And with the flooded industry right now, it's already a steep incline.

Now I've just managed to depress myself.

:unimpressed:

Edit: Or they'll have to focus promotions for awhile outside of SK... but depending on the verdict for Dan's case, his travel may be heavily restricted... which brings me back to the idea of him leaving.

...dammit I thought I saw hope and then I dashed it myself.

:wth:

I'm not sure what quiz show you're talking about though. Do you mean Star Golden Bell or 1 vs 100 or was it something else?

They need to get on a Gayo Daejun or something. I know they were on there but they didn't make it to the Main Stage. Poor things :._.:

Yeah, if Daniel leaves I can't see DMTN making it either. They might comback without Daniel but I can see them flopping really hard after that.

Maybe they could find another strong vocalist? It wouldn't be hard to find a really good young male vocalist. There is a sea of them out there :._.:

Daniel is the face of DMTN but I think that Simon's popularity has risen so high that he could carry the torch. So even if Daniel leaves I think with Simon being the new face of DMTN + a new vocalist member + Dari then maybe they can make it work. Simon actually has a decent voice its just that he doesn't have any control. :twitch:  His abdlibs are shit (nobody wants to say it and I have tiptoed around it long enough. I only say it because I care.)

but I think with some additional vocal training he might become a more reliable vocalist because he has a great tone and I see the potential there :stare:

Okay, so if they can't make it work without Daniel, I think that would be worse. That might make them drop DMTN completely. Now that makes me depressed.

The only person I can see succeeding outside of DMTN is Simon and maybe Jeesu but that's a stretch. Simon might not even want to go solo. He was doing management so he might decide to go back to Japan and do that (I know that Simon likes Japan better anyway. All of the 1/2 korean 1/2 japanese people I know say they like Japan better)

Okay, we gotta stop thinking negatively though. Lets think about the best case scenario.

And guys, I'm super salty about B1A4's win. Not because I have anything against them but because DMTN have been in the industry for 2 maybe 3 times longer than them and they haven't been close to a win.

It might've been 1 vs 100; I don't recall that they got much screen time. =/

How does the Gayo Daejun thing work?

I'm sure they could find another strong vocalist... but it would also be weird to add someone new at this point. It hasn't turned out well for any group that's done it and it has the potential to backfire, since it throws the group dynamics off. Plus I think it would require another hiatus... while they all familiarize themselves and the new guy settles in and learns everything from scratch. I agree about Simon; he's not considered part of the vocal line for a reason. Which is why I don't think he would do well, solo. His own vocal ability is moderate at best and I don't think he has the cred, ability or even the desire to be a solo hip-hop/rap artist.

As for Jisu... I still think his voice is built for harmony, but if he can work on his chest voice and lower range, he could give it a go as a solo artist - his range kind of reminds me of K.Will, come to think of it, though K.Will's always been a solo artist, so he has the training and power that goes with it.

Also not going to argue about B1A4's win. The comments on NB were just full of confusion, because the song wasn't charting well at all, and yet they won over songs that were charting much higher. Something to do with the fanvotes. =/ Banas are a reasonably strong fandom and they might have pulled out all the stops to get that win.

I'm not quite sure how Gayo's work myself. The artists/groups I like are rarely invited so I never really had much interest in them. I don't really think there is a system, they just invite the most popular groups (definitely those from the major 3). Then if anyone decides not to attend they fill them in with either another popular group that is willing to perform another song, or a nugu. As for the awards, I can't remember if they're based on votes but something tells me that they are chosen by Network or the people that plan the show. Hmm maybe it is based on votes, because I clearly remember voting for Block B or something for some type of rookie of the year award (and they didn't win lol).

The only time I have seen groups really get thrown off with member changes is when a lot of them leave at once. That's the only time I have seen a group completely disband due to member changes. I have actually seen more groups improve with the addition of a new member. There's not many examples for guy groups, as they usually don't have as much going with member changes, but for girl groups there's been many like Nine Muses, Dal Shabet, Girls Day, and EXID. All have gotten more popular with the addition of members. Dal Shabet for example didn't even have any down time at all. As soon as their member Vicki left they brought a replacement in almost immediately. Usually guy groups try to continue on with the members they have left though, girl groups usually find replacements (I have no idea why...maybe just coincidence). I don't want Daniel to leave, but i also don't want DMTN to disband so I was just thinking of a possible solution. Even if they do require a hiatus that's still better than disbanding.

I think we're on the same page about Simon. As for Jeesu, I don't think that its his voice that would inhibit him from going solo. Lots of male soloists have high voices (Justin Timberlake and Jeesu's idols Micheal Jackson and Maxwell) but I really don't think Jeesu has the type of image that's appropriate for a soloist. I just can't see it but maybe I am wrong.

I had no idea that B1A4's win was even a controversy. I don't really follow them (I only know one song of theirs "Beautiful Target"), all I know is that they're popular and that BANA's go hard for them. But sorry for bringing it, I really didn't know it was controversial :._.:

Oh, I'm not upset that you mentioned it; I just remembered reading a lot of comments that were along the lines of, 'I've never heard this song' and '...but they're charting at 28?' It's the funky rating systems that differ from show to show that throw me off. I don't like the award system. Let the damned music shows be about *gasp* showcasing the music, not about whose fans got the least sleep because they were OCD clicking a vote button on a website or going broke because they bought multiple physical copies of a CD to bump the sales numbers. Viewership for those shows is down because it's almost ALL idols, and if you're not an idol, you have next to no chance to win anything, and people constantly argue about what numbers go into what shows and how those numbers are even calculated and whether or not they were manipulated. Guess what, broadcast networks! No assinine show-only ranking system, no controversy! No pissed off fans hating on other fans or other artists!

But they can't even manage to not ban artists for stupid reasons (*cough* Shinhwa SBS *cough*), so I don't foresee them getting their heads out of the asses enough to realize they're better off supporting the music than pitting fans against each other via confusing trophy metrics.

:omgwtf:

And I have absolutely no idea about girl group roster changes. :derp:  I don't follow any of them. I just know that it's few and far between for male groups. I can only think of DMTN and U-KISS having done it, actually... and as far as I know, there are STILL upset Kissmes about that whole... whatever that was that happened.

WOW 1000 days on Memorial Day!! happy 1000 days DMTN,

i feel even more connected to them because is also my birthday lol

DMTN ia defintely coming back, im pretty sure 2works is not letting the album just get shelved...

Happy Birfday, Gno! *e-hugs!*

*eats birthday cookies for you! ...so many cookies...*

I have heard of some of those bigger companies in secret using their money and power unfairly in order to boost a particular artist/group (not exactly ethical but can I fault them?).

I think that is why male groups tend to either disband or continue with what members are left. For some reason fans of guy groups tend be less accepting and be more emotional when their bias gets replaced. The reason why Simon was receipted to well was because he was in the original line up, plus I think Dalmates tend to be more chill than fans of some other idols. I don't think that Daniel being replaced by a new member will go over well, but if it comes to that (god forbid) I fear that a lot of Dalmates will leave the fandom :._.: .

I'm trying to think of what could be the best case scenario.

We know that Daniel definitely won't be able to participate in the Japan concert. If they have a comeback before the year's end maybe by then everything surrounding Daniel's case will be settled down and he won't have a harsh sentence or be found innocent of his charges, and he will then return to the group.

And I thought I was the only one who felt that way about the B1A4 thing. Well it's not that they won, it's just that DMTN haven't been close to winning that annoys me, but honestly I'm at fault. I am not a part of DMTN fancafe, and I don't obsessively vote for them, and I didn't buy 10 copies of each of their albums. There was definitely more I could have done for them :._.:

While I was disappointed that they had to perform outside in the snow in front of an unenthusiastic audience, I am happy that they were at least invited to the Gayo Daejun, because they had never been invited before. If they still exist, I can't see them not being invited for 2013 Gayo. Hopefully next time they can perform on the Main Stage, even if its just one song.

Well, we know that sometimes the big companies are in bed with the networks - thus why JYJ can't promote on any of the music shows. I read an article that talked about music show PDs and how managers and agents for idols and companies have to curry favor to assure their artists get airtime to actually perform. It's quite ridiculous. I'll edit to link it, if I can find it again. http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2013/03/behind-scenes-of-music-programs-singers.html

I would wager that guy groups tend to have more female fans, and we're an obsessive bunch.  It also helped with Simon that he's gorgeous and that David left on good terms (and frankly, he seemed unhappy in a lot of their interviews and shows), so it wasn't a case of Dalmates questioning the change so much. We've already lost some fans over this scandal, but I figure if smoking pot is going to be a deal-breaker for someone, that person is in for a rude awakening when they get out into the world.

As for Dan... he won't be found innocent; he's already pled guilty. The best we can hope for is that he only gets fined. His next court date is in about a week.

As for being able to do more... I can't afford to pay for shipping on *one* physical album, forget half a dozen of them. Music awards should *also* be given based on quality and critical reception, not sales. They have silver and gold and platinum rankings to mark sales... awards shouldn't be markers of popularity, but of substance. I get the impression that korean music award shows are almost all the equivalent of the VMAs and MTV MA shows here (fancy popularity contests), rather than the Grammys.

I hate the way the entertainment scene in korean is ran. Its seems nice and perfect on the outside, but its a dark and shady place. Like Jay Park said. I felt so bad for JYJ. I hope they dont do the same thing for DMTN,Daniel admitted to doing it and he's paying for it.

I was heartbroken when he said he was guilty. But at the same time i can accept it because he's being an adult about it and he's not wasting people time by lying about it so hey. Unlike SOME people we know that wont come to court and just pay the consequences. *coughbiancacough* Im praying they least they give him is a fine...or house arrest,im fine with both. Oh,you thought people were overreacting,on allkpop i was defending daniel left and right because you have idiots saying"Weed kills you" or,"It causes brain damage". I understand it does does somethings to your brain, but they were acting like he's been smoking it forever. I hate for half of them to come to america or get in a debate with someone who pro-weed.( Like me).

I honestly have lost a creditably to music awards shows in korean, period. MAMA most of all. Its just a bunch of crazy ass fandoms getting together to vote for people that DONT deserve it. If DMTN was in a list, hell yeah i vote. I love my BIG BANG,but last year SHINHWA should've won for best male group. I just dont take them seriously.

Well, there's some evidence that pot can have some of the same effects as smoking cigarettes... except A) Cigarettes are perfectly legal and B) Very few people can afford to smoke as much weed as anybody smokes cigarettes, so the sheer intake of chemicals (and thus the effects OF those chemicals) is dramatically lower. :>_>:  There doesn't seem to be a consensus other than 'maybe, but cigarettes are still *far* worse, just on sheer volume.'

I think much like the US, SK only has one or two award shows that are considered 'serious.' We have the Oscars and the Grammys for film and music respectively (plus the Tonys for theatre and the Emmys for television). And I'm pretty sure none of those have anything to do with fan votes... because fans are stupid and uninformed, generally. Not that all critics are paragons of virtue and neutrality by any means, but it's not one critic making a decision, either.

I really hope these injustices become fully exposed and dealt with.

As for the article, I'm not surprised. The PD's are doing too much. The public should raise hell at the networks and make them drop those PD's. If people boycott the networks they have no choice other than to get rid of them and hire new PD's that actually have a shred of decency and moral compass.

I don't have a lot of hope about the situation. They have too much power; anybody put into that position that's actually qualified for it already knows what's expected and will probably just follow suit. =/

Also bugs me that apparently two of the broadcast networks are government owned... and just as corrupt as the privately owned one (SBS, I think).

And it's not just the music shows; look at the Idol Athletic Championships. There are rumors that if a group is difficult or was hesitant to sign on for it, they got their screen time cut. Even groups that were eliminated early had to hang around all day, just to do the final farewell thing at the end of the event. Idols get injured every year. And just like music shows, they're losing money by being there - the hope is that they do well, get screen time, get public exposure, and that it pays off eventually. I don't think it's worth it. If you're athletic and proud of it, there are other ways to show it - Dream Team, Running Man specials. Establishing teams like Simon, Junsu, Hyunjoong, etc. I kind of thing that if an athletic brand is going to reach out to sponsor a group, they would rather sponsor a group that is *actually* athletic, and not just pretending to be on TV for one event a year.

Awwwwwwwwwww. Im pretty sure you have more than that. You just have to .................research harder? lol IDK. lol

Intae is a Pisces, which is my opposite sign. If he'd been born a week earlier or I'd been born a week later, we'd be 6 months apart exactly (...plus a couple of years).

And... and... opposites attract? Right?

He's early March, so he should be. :)

That gifset cracks me up. He did quite a few hardcore pushups, though (even discounting the ones where Daniel was 'helping'). And he did them fast. I was certainly impressed. He did the ones that involve pushing up off the ground hard enough to clap quick in between. ...I should find that video again. :hurr:

It's the end of episode 2 of Dalmatian TV from 6/18/12. He does about 25 of them before he gives in and just lays on the floor.

:ahmagah:

Dude, forget those fans. If it wasn't for Daniels scandal it would probably be somethings else. Those type of fans flake eventually. The good thing is I think it will bring the members closer to fans because they know we are in it for the long run and that we are their real supporters.

Does anyone know how many the number of members in DMTN fancafe before the scandal?

No idea, but the official DMTN G+ page is closing in on 250,000 +1s (the equivalent to likes?)... and that's with no updates since mid-March.

I guess DMTN is more popular internationally. Their daum fancafe numbers is very small :._.:

Makes even more sense for them to be performing outside of SK, then. Like... the Singapore showcase (*sigh*) and the upcoming show in Japan. They could pull a TVXQ! and focus on Japan. Simon would be a huge help with that.

*spots that David gif*

  Holy shit!

*relearns how to breathe*

@gno @punk princess  (does tagging work here?)

The site for the concert lists Daniel as not going. Which doesn't surprise me, as we don't know if his case will be resolved by then, and even if it is, he may have travel restrictions (either as part of whatever the verdict is, or an issue with getting a travel visa due to this being on his record now, etc).

Well,i cant be shocked neither. Poor JDalmates. Oh well. T.T I hope everything gets worked out soon. This is driving me crazy.

I had to learn how to re-breathe too. XD Inati & simon-oppa are killing me. XD

Inati always gets me, but I've learned how to cope with those feels. I still get caught unaware by random David feels, though.
