Day Day thinks he looks old. I think I remember him mention it on DGOS. I also suspect that he  has a complex about his height.

I've never thought that Daniel looked anything other than fully korean, so it's interesting that people think he looks mixed. David does have big eyes and also very tan skin so I can see how people think he's mixed or not korean.

 

I think Jisu's and Inati's heights are pretty accurate (they're 5'10), but I think Simon and Daniel's heights on their profile are a little off.

 

I dont see why. I thought he was at least 23 when i first saw him. He looks good for his age. And you can kinda see why. Korea tend to have a liking for tall people,not short people so much. I think Daniel could at least be 5'9. I wont go any taller.XD Cause he's not that far off from Jeesu-oppa,but i say Inati-oppa is at least 5'12,6'0. 

It's hard to find group photos of them that don't have weird angles or posing or someone leaning slightly to throw off gauging the height.

Even if Daniel wasn't tilting his head, he'd still be obviously the shortest with the two pillars at the sides.

But look at the feet - the shorties (by comparison) are all standing a little closer to the camera, which adds just enough to their height to make them all look about even... if you don't notice the feet.

And Jisu *still* looks taller than Daniel. =D  I've got nothing against short people; I'm all of 5'3".

That's probably the most common way it gets pronounced, but alas, no. The first a is like add (as in add and subtract).

I've never heard that my surname looks ethnic before! I suppose it's true, in a way; it's just very germanic (also nobody ever pronounced that right, either - the vowel pair in the first syllable is a long a, despite there not actually being an 'a' IN the name - so the first syllable sounds like a kind of bird. Or a piece of construction equipment).

There was a comment made that they had been planning a new album for a May release, but that was obviously put on hold.

 

And Inati drunk-tweeted (we presume) that there was a new song coming out soon (but then he deleted that tweet - this was in the last couple of weeks)... and then he tweeted out his phone number (and then deleted *that* tweet). I kind of figured if they were planning an album for May, they had to have already done all the recording, so there are probably songs ready to go... but it would be weird for an idol group to release a song with no promotions... but if they promoted, it would have to be without Daniel... which just makes my stomach knot up.

The funny thing is the T-ara song is also a Duble Sidekick song. I kind of figured the the guy who was all pissed about it was cranky that he hasn't won any songwriting awards (most peoples' response to his tweet was along the lines of '...who are you?')

Very true.   The first time I saw the bandanna thing, my brain went straight to '...oh they're going to try to be all hip-hop styled this time?' Which is probably part of why I thought of Westside Story.   Because k-hip-hop -> gangs + music = Westside Story to me, I guess. (LEAVE ME ALONE I'M OLD) Edit: or not, maybe it was just the ridiculousness of them crawling around on the ground and trying to be all fierce while I was staring at my monitor, absolutely bewildered at how EXO stans are going to be shrieking that this is the best thing ever. Maybe the actual MV and performances will be less ridiculous... but after the high drama that was MAMA, I'm not betting on it.

Nugu vs big 3: Meh, I like me some SuJu and SHINee (though yeah, the newest SHINee album was kinda... odd. It doesn't sound like them). I like BB's Alive album a lot. And I don't think I've ever even listened to a full 2NE1 song... I just know that one of them looks like a barbie and not in a good way. I luff JYJ and TVXQ separately and together (I appreciate that JYJ can think outside the box when it comes to their music, but I also like TVXQ's club beats music... though I wish they *could* go outside of that box a bit. Their last two promoted tracks were WAY too similar. And I just wish that JYJ could *actually promote* their music.)

 

I love this song from A-ble I don't know who their primary vocalist is, but I nearly pissed myself the first time I got to about 3:40 - dude is easily solo-talent level (imo):

Plus they also have a DMTN level age gap - the leader is also in his early 30s and the rest of them are considerably younger.

Fanfics... I can't. I tried a couple of times, but they're usually so terribly written that I can't get past more than a couple of paragraphs. The one that I *really* tried with was specifically Inati, but the author turned him into a douchebag who was only playing nice to get in her pants. Maybe later in the story he realized she was the love of his life and changed his douchebag ways   but just NO.

Dude, if DMTN doesn't come back as 6 members I'm gonna be disappointed (well I'm really only worried about Dari and Daniel).

We'll find out about Dari at event at the end of June, I imagine. At the latest. It would be weird for them not to bring him back in for that, knowing that Daniel's not going, if he's still part of the group. I wonder if we'll have a final decision on Daniel's case by then.

 

They've said that State of Emergency is closer to their style than the cuter concept of the first mini. I suppose it depends on what you mean by hip-hop concept. If they all show up on stage in horrible gangsta wannabe clothes and do-rags, I'm quitting the fandom.

Lol, when DMTN came out with E.R, lot of Dalmates were complaining that they changed their style too much. But meh, it suited them really well in the end. haha

I didn't find them until ER, so the cutesy stuff was more of a shock to me.

 

I don't go for cutesy, in general. Or even pretty. I like rugged good looks with some 'imperfection.'

 

...not that Intae's big ears are a flaw! They're perfect handles for smoochy times!

 

Dude, I hope they let us know whats going on. Do think 2works already know the outcome of Daniel's case? It seems like everything is taking forever.

 

I don't mean "gangsta" or "cute" (they're a bit too old to pull that off at this point lol), I guess what I mean is something more uptempo. Safety Zone and everything from SOM have been slow to mid-tempo, which is fine but because I prefer mid-tempo myself but I think up-tempo is probably more popular with kpop fans.

Yeah, those pink jogging suits were awful. A lot of dalmates liked those dalmatian kigurumi costumes that they performed in but I hated them lol. 2works won't do that to them. Although sometimes their style is questionable (Donglim's cinched waist), its an improvement from those pink jogging suits for sure.

I have a feeling we won't hear from 2works until there's a final verdict, so they can get everything out at once. They seem to have learned their lesson from being kind of frantic in their responses when the scandal first broke.

 

I've always appreciated that they don't sound like everybody else. There are so many groups with songs that are practically tradeable. I'm sure Duble Sidekick could come up with something that's less moody than ER and SZ, but I desperately don't want them to veer into club music and/or adding dubstep. They need to find a balance with something energizing but also meaningful. And for pity's sake, let the rappers have more than five seconds each in a 3:30 long song.

But i dont think they know anything yet either. If they did i think they would have told us by now. I think his proportions are pretty much perfect. He's not as long legged as Jisu, but he has a nice long torso, broad shoulders, and great bone structure (THAT MFIN' JAWLINE THO). ...I even love his wonky fingers! He may possibly even have some substance to his butt.

I love love love Intae's body, everything about him is flawless. What can I say? While Simon is my #1 bias, Inati is honestly my ideal type, from the inside and out!!!

Well, we're pretty sure he trawls his own tags on tumblr - he's tweeted gifs of himself before. And Inati seems to follow at least one tumblr - the last two times he's changed his twitter DP, it's been to pieces of fanart by the same tumblr user. (so jealous)

Inati looks he hasn't been hitting the gym as much, because when they debuted he was ripped (ofc the lightining is different but even so he looked like he still had more definition to his abs if the lighting wasn't there)

 

 

 

when i watched That Man I Opposed, i noticed how huge he was compared to other members.

I never get tired of watching that teaser. He is absolute perfection in that. (muscular fuzzy calves alert! and the jawline! and the abs! And the... just... all of it.)

 

I don't think he's any stockier in build than the others, but he's certainly more muscular (THOSE THIGHS!).

 

Edit: Well, he's stockier than Dari, Jisu, and Donglim, but those three have the bone structure of birds.

Yeah Inati's muscles aren't as defined as they were back in the Round 1 days. Its pretty difficult to maintain a body like that with such a low body fat %. He probably worked out a lot pre-debut but after debut he doesn't have as much time to work out. Trust, me to keep a body like that you have to work out quite a bit and at a high intensity and you pretty much can't eat anything other than veggies and lean meat.

 

He can but I don't think his hair holds up well when bleached.

When he had that orangey-brown hair (the lightest color he's had) back in the DMGOS days, it didn't look too healthy. Plus I think its very difficult to get "white" hair if your hair is naturally black.

My hair is the same way. Bleaching is pretty much a death sentence to my hair lol.

Maybe that's why they've kept his hair dark brown to black.

It's odd how many international DMTEs are Inati biased. Apparently he doesn't really rank very highly among Dalmates in SK.

 

They've said that while they were on hiatus, they didn't have much of anything to do... so they worked out. I can't decide if the shirtlessness for ER was intentional or more of a happy accident (they all got ripped, so they went shirtless... or they were planning the concept and thus got ripped). I'm not going to pout about it either way, though.

 

Nobody's hair holds up well to repeated bleaching, and dark roots = extra bleaching. =/  It looks really soft in the teaser, though. *pets* But I do like his natural color.

 

And I had always heard that Daniel was the visual... except sometimes I've heard Jisu is. Now I kind of wonder if Simon is.

I have no idea how they rank in Korea but I'm pretty sure Daniel is the most popular internationally, but there are times when it seems like Inati or Simon are the most popular internationally. Jeesu and Donglim don't seem too popular internationally, and Dari doesn't seem to popular in Korea or Internationally lol.

 

I like Simon and Donglim with lighter hair (Donglim looked so cute when he had blue hair), and I like Jeesu and Daniel with darker hair. Inati seems like he can pull off a lot of different hair colors (of course he can, he's a model) but I think its best to preserve his hair and it looks so shiny when its black. I saw pre-debut pictures of Dari with blonde hair and I was not a fan. I think Dari actually needs longer hair.

^I think a lot of Day Day and Dari biases turned to Simon when he joined. I can't blame them. Personally I think all of the members except Donglimmie have been my bias at some point so I figure that actually means I don't have a bias.

 

I have no idea why their stylist thought it would be a good idea to give Dari a bowl cut.

I'm trying to think of how he would look with longer bangs like what Inati, Donglim, and Daniel have right now but I just can't picture it. I have never seen him with his hair that long. He has a small head so I'm not sure if it would look right.

 

I actually like Jeesu's short hair. I like his eyebrows and it makes him look more manly. Jeesu had a bowl cut too (In 'That Man Opposed' days) and it was disrespectful.

About the finger in the nose. Well you know Inati is actually 3 on the inside.
