He caught my eye in the first performance of Produce 101 S2 (Sorry Sorry), like I remember back then that everyone was saying how "pink boy can get it". Like theres something about him that even I cant explain. He also got alot of screentime showing how nice he is, he was sort of called the "father" of one of the other contestants who was really young, they made screentime off of their relationship. But nowadays i just found other w1 members more charming than him? Some people do have a point about mediocrity compared to the level of worships he gets (though the jab to his visual is unnecessarily harsh you uglies.) he kinda dropped in my bias lists, ngl (But maybe it has a bit to do with me being salty about him receiving the rookie variety award over sechan, since afaik sechan did more than daniel, daniel is more like reacting? Sexy on stage, but cute off. Average visuals, not perfect, but charming, nice, humble and relatable. What helps Daniel imo... Exposure. The right Exposure is very beneficial. The public/knetz/muggles are able to learn more about him. Plus Pd101 is still fresh on everyone mind. I'm not sure how Mnet edit him in the show, but base on comments I've seen it seems they did a good job of showcasing his personality.
