Saint Ren 4,272 Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Since both the Events and Moderator teams are recruiting people, I thought it would be fun to see which team/role people prefer. They're both so damn time consuming and you can't tell someone they're annoying you and to go away, which I would do in a heart beat, it is way too much effort for me, but I'd have to go with the Mods team, Events team is just so busy and so active, with Mods the work seems more straight forward, the only difficult thing would be when people ask if there's a Mod around to PM. Being in the Moderators Team is without a doubt far more difficult than everything we see... the amount of complaints, trolls and even just clueless people they need to deal with while remaining professional is probably unbelievable. They need to deal with reports, PMs, the questions in the AAM, and situations user encounter are so different... Of course it requires less "creativity" than being an Events Team member but I'm certain they can't just pretend they weren't online to see stuff lol. To answer your question though, since I've been rejected after applying for mods a couple of times, I'd like to try Awards Team. I actually enjoyed taking care of the voting during Awards season.
