DNA has an average of 1.2M views daily after 4 months and at 242M views, something like this was considered abnormal for a Kpop group until last year.

For comparison, TWICE has the same average views per day but on Heart Shaker, a m/v that was released a month ago and still didn't surpass 100M. AIIYL was released months before DNA and DNA is already 20M views ahead.

At this rate DNA will be the most viewed kpop group music video ever, unless BTS snatches BTS wig with another record-breaking m/v this year.

Thoughts?

Ok? You can be excited about their views without mentioning others

It's for comparison

How can I compare DNA with other m/vs without mentioning others

never gonna pass TT cause TT still get alot views

Delusional. BTS - Fire (the most viewed BTS video so far) was released months before TT and has a better daily average nowadays. DNA will most likely surpass both

Check kworb if you don't believe me

DNA's views are quite insane. It's the first time a kpop group mv has both explosive first day/week views, as well as longevity. It's currently got the record for highest first 24h hour views, as well as fastest to every milestone from 10m views up to 200m. Snatching away 250m in a week. This has (as far as I know) never happened before. Usually groups' records were beaten before they could get up to these kinds of numbers. I honestly never thought anyone could break TT's records for 150, 200, 250m views, etc, because they absolutely slaughtered the old record when they reached it. And here we have DNA, who's cutting the old amazing record in a third or less. Wow. And this from a song that fandom wasn't so fond of in the beginning.

In case anyone is super interested in daily bts youtube views, I have a tracker here. I have daily views for DNA since its release and for most other MVs since October.

At the rate its going now, I predict DNA will be the most viewed kpop group MV no later than May. It may be the first MV to reach 350m, but that's a close race.

How did I not know about the existence of your tracker? BookmarkedT!

I hope your prediction comes true. DNA's longevity is amazing, it wouldn't surprise me tbh

I stream DNA and other music videos unconsciously- I like listening to music while working. However, the possibility of hundreds of thousands of people doing the same (or similar).... it’s insane. ARMYs are @.@
