Also look into bursaries, as they can help you out as well. Apply for everything you're eligible for, even if you're unsure if you'll get it or not. At least in my area of education, a lot of people overlook bursaries and the like to the point where money just sits there because there's not enough demand. Also, it's NEVER too early to get into college stuff. I had a friend who sent in a portfolio when she was like 15 and they put her in their archives...when she reached senior year they accepted her. You'll wish you'd done it wayyy early. Please don't wait until the last minute (I barely made it!) just get it done with. What grade are in you in, and are you in America? Make sure to look in your university's website. Getting that out of the day and knowing you're accepted is a nice feeling lol. I say visit a get2college center if you have one but def check out that website!
