It's not like they will be promoting Bboom Bboom for 2 months, and do you really think Korea will be checking for Momoland while the Seoul Olympics are going on in February? If anything, it's pretty savvy of their company to have activities in Japan while Korea is focused on the Olympics. Japan is just a 2 hour flight away. juniordud 3,004 Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 They announced their Japanese debut back in December, which was back at the time a great marketing ploy for them to promote in both Korea & Japan at the same time since the public didn't really care for them, that would make them sell more albums and actually get money through concerts and fanmeetings.
