this looks really interesting, I'm intrigued!  I think joy will finally be able to play to her real strengths this time and will provide the drama with the zing it needs.  also the contrast in dynamics between her and so hyun the lead makes this look perfect already

These are two separate dramas, radio romance (doo joon and sohyun) and sweet temptation (do hwan and joy) I guess the dramas will air around the same time

The one with Joo Sang Wook? Sweet Temptation finished airing last year and Joy wasn't part of it

No, it's a new MBC drama they're going to air in March I think. I'm not following it so I might've got the title wrong.

I thought the title is The Great Seducer🤔. Anyway, i hope both of the drama to be great and i actually root for dohwan and joy new drama just to prove everyone's wrong. I hope for the drama to be hit and the storyline and writing to be smooth.

I knew the comments would be full of support for Radio Romance before even clicking on the article, is a KBS drama starring two beloved actors, whereas both Woo Do-Hwan and Joy are fairly new to the scene (Though Woo Do-Hwan has tons of "Upcoming actor" hype behind him because of Mad Dog and Save Me).

Radio Romance will do very well, I don't even need to see it airing to know this, the only way for it to not do well is the plot ending up being very bad, but when I see the two main leads I can't help but feel uncomfortable because their age gap is so apparent Kim Sohyun could pass off as his sister instead of a love interest, is time for Sohyun to transition from a child actress to an adult actress but i'm honestly not sure whether her and her company are doing the right decisions or not, Kim Sohyun is a great actress with plenty of years of experience and an overflow of potential, a drama with a plot as clichè as Radio Romance definitely won't showcase her acting skills and a great project that allows her to show her true potential is what she needs right now.

By the time The Great Seducer starts Radio Romance will probably be about to end so I think is rather odd for articles to be putting these two as the time-slot rivals, but they will indeed share time-slot at the beginning of The Great Seducer so heh.

I think there was a mistake, the drama's name is The Great Seducer, but the original working title was "Love Game: The Great Seduction" and "Great Temptation", however those names were scrapped and The Great Seducer is the final name.

I honestly think Doojoon and Sohyun will do well and will somehow overcome the age gap issue once the eps start airing since they had a pretty great chemistry going on when Doojoon did a super short cameo for Let's Fight Ghost. This age gap issue was brought up before too but with Taecyeon, who is a year older than Doojoon, when Let's Fight Ghost wasn't airing yet. Once the eps started airing and people saw that they had good chemistry in the drama, people dropped the issue. The only thing I'm worried about is the storyline going downhill/writers messing up the drama like what happened with Kim Sohyun's previous drama with Yoo Seungho, "Ruler", so I'm not really setting my expectations high for Radio Romance so that I won't get too disappointed like before.

I honestly dont want to judge her decision just yetf or choosing RR since it hasn't even started airing, but judging from her initial interviews, I think she's pretty happy with her decision to do a romcom now that she turned 20 (Korean age) because that's what she's been wanting since before--to play a bright character. I think she also wants to take a break from the melo/heavy stuff for a while and/or she's being more careful now with her projects after Ruler since she did confess that she went through an acting slump during that production and had a lot of thoughts about her capabilities as an actress.

The Great Seducer will air on March 12th and Radio Romance will start airing on January 29th so they will still compete since by the time TGS starts airing, RR will be about 4 eps in. smile.png Edit: 12 eps in lol

I'm most worried about the screenwriting and the script. I've seen so many good dramas go from downhill to pits of hell due to bad writers.

Acting and chemistry between actors are worries too but no big deal so far.

I like the thoughts of you two below

Same and that's what I'm worried about for RR since the writer is new (I can't find any previous works from her), though I'm hoping that things look up for the drama since they changed the director from Kim Shin-il PD, who doesn't really have any strong dramas that he directed and produced, to Moon Joon Ha PD, who mostly directed drama specials but have a solid lineup of dramas he has produced like Fight For My Way, Page Turner, Girls' Generation 1979, Cinderella's Stepsister, Hwang Jinyi, etc. lol Meanwhile for TGS, there isn't really any news for the director and writer until now so that's kinda worrying. Anyway, fingers crossed for both dramas!

No interruptions from KBS and SBS so far with the drama schedules going to air. Only MBC (they’ll take a break after the currently airing dramas end that’s why TGS air date was moved to March instead of Jan). Also the reason is not because of the Olympics but because of the MBC-KBS strike that happened that’s why they’re going on a short hiatus. :)

I'm confused. If Seducer is going to premier on March 12, RR would be 14 eps by then.
