I recently had my first assistance to an epileptic seizure during one of my exam and it was nothing compared to videos, it was actually pretty shocking. At first I was trying to understand what was happening but we were 50 in the room so people with smarter reflexes took the charge really quickly, so they obviously called the ambulance and they put his head over a jacket on the floor so he doesn't injure himself but he was still shacking intensively so a guy put his hand on his head and stick his head against the ground to control his shacking and later the ambulance came. I'm actually grateful that these guy were there because we weren't a lot to know what to really do, I learned a lot of stuff and I think next time I'll be more useful. And you what's your story?

Yes, it was an awful experience and quite personal so I can't share, but I got the person in a good position and called the ambulance.

This 2nd one is nothing serious, but I was on a trip with my friend and the time to the destination was gonna take 9 hours since we took the bus. After some stops, a girl came on the bus with her friends and sat two seats in front of me. They looked drained. It looked like they were coming from a festival.

Anyways after some time, this girl shouted asking if anyone has water with a hoarse voice. I only had a bottle for the whole trip and I don't share bottles with my close friends less a stranger. I thought someone would offer but nobody did. She was looking around to see if anyone would but nobody did. After she sat down, I offered her my bottle. I'm assuming she had a hangover and was feeling dehydrated. She later came thanking me and saying how I've saved her life. The next day I saw her at the city center at our destination and when she saw me, she shouted, "my lifesaver" and waved.

But this made me wonder how no one could offer just a bottle of water

Few years ago, i've saved my stepfather when i was visiting my parents. My mother wasn't home that morning, i was in the kitchen cooking when i suddenly hear a loud thump, followed by unintelligible calling. I'm not sure what exactly happened to him, but i knew it was serious and he couldn't help himself. He was already feeling unwell the prior day and from what i know also had an upcoming surgery.

Now you gotta know, this man abused me for years and has caused issues i'll probably struggle with all my life, so i could've just pretended that i didn't hear anything and only noticed when it was too late, but i've decided to be the better human and called him an ambulance which ultimately saved his life that day.

Yes, well kinda

I was around 11-12 and had found my abuelo unresponsive (but still kinda awake?) in his bed after my little sister told me he was "acting weird"

I was so scared I didn't even think to call anything like 911 instead I had called my Mom who then told me to call 911 as she drove home it all happened really fast all I really remember is crying a lot

It scares me to think of what would have happened if my sis hadn't checked on him

but he's ok now :ohbi:
