Messages to Your Self

Hey you, I know you've moved on from that thing now. Don't sweat it anymore, you're not in a position to make it happen so don't force it. Chill out, start prioritising yourself a bit more. If you want to withdraw back into your bubble then it's okay, don't put yourself on the line so much for others like last year until your mental health started taking a hit. It's time to recuperate. Sit at home, play video games, watch lots of TV shows and movies! I don't hate you.

1- Work your ass off, you have about a month or your life as it is, is basically over.

Like DO SOMETHING, don't just complain about how hard it is right now?

If you work hard enough, you'll sort it out. Just stop being lazy, you can do it.

2- Just say yes, it's been so long. Try it out.

You're an 'all-or-nothing' type of person. You figure if you can't be the best at it, why waste time on it when you can put your time being the best at something else. I know you always want to be considered the best because it feels like you're worth something, but you're worth something regardless of where you stand. And chances are, there will always be somebody better than you at it. So just do it for your own happiness. You deserve to be happy.

Never stop caring... Even though this apathy can feel so dark and empty sometimes, it's helped you prevail over all the abuse you went through as a child, as an adult. It feels so easy to disregard life and any consequences, to ignore any sympathetic thoughts about the aftermath of these dark wishes... Even though it feels like they deserve it, like it's so justified... So don't be scared of it, don't be scared of being so apathetic. I am capable of loving, of being sympathetic. Just keep these dark thoughts to yourself, and don't act on it. Don't stop caring.
