If you are looking for an opportunity to put yourself and others down, then you should not expect to receive the kindest treatment. If you judge someone because of an implicit dissatisfaction, then you should also expect to be treated in the same way. You are giving the permission for them to do upon what you would like to inflict upon yourself. I don't doubt you want to be sincere about your intentions, but at times it can be excessive. No one should have to feel obligated to take on your praise or criticism. And you know this well yourself.

You're hurting yourself and carrying forward excessive burdens and worries; things you could naturally eliminate by choice. Understandably, it has happened for a reason. But no one is denying that experience. So, don't rush into asserting inaccurate generalizations, associations and correlations because it doesn't follow your direction of interest, or persuaded by the knowledge based on words shared to you.

Some will do everything in their power to make you fail. Just work hard as you are now and try to succeed. Those same people who are trying to pull you down are inevitably helping you to go up higher. Be grateful to them because they are giving you drive and sense of motivation.

There will always be a silver lining so try to be less disappointed when things don't go the way you intend. Just remember to take a break when you feel sad. Don't push yourself to the brink of your own limit. That's not healthy.
