I'm so glad that this news has been coming out exposing all the hollywood hypocrisy. At the same time, I don't want to point fingers at anyone. It's a strange feeling.

 

I hope there is an investigation into this. That's what I can say.

 

With what’s going on lately? Even if there’s investigation, people with money and power won’t get locked up. Maybe lose their reputation, but with their money and power in the industry, they’ll make something up to get the credibility of these people coming out look like they’re faking or lying. I mean there’s a lot of allegations about Donald Trump, Weinstein, Spacey, James Franco, etc and they’re still here. But I really hope there’s something to be done about this.

Sadly, doubt anything would happen to address it. 

 

Look at Corey Feldman. Both he and Corey Haim (who committed suicide RIP) were subject to years of abuse as minors working in the industry.

 

He has been trying to blow the lid off this for years and shedding light to the situation, including naming some of the perpetrators yet silence/crickets. He has been largely ignored, his allegations swept under the carpet and was even attacked in interviews by hosts/members of the media for trying to out these scumbags.

I think to be fair... most of the women coming forward (not all), aren't looking to press charges....they are just looking to expose their assaulters. So yes, it's all going to have bigger impacts on reputations.

 

That said... Trump aside.... and probably James Franco (and today, Aziz Ansari), I don't see the influence of Weinstein or Spacey allowing them to ever really successfully work in the industy (in their own right) as successfully again. By that I mean...will Weinstein still make money and work...probably. He has his fingers in a lot of jars in the industry. He has companies that might not keep HIS name, but he'll have stock in them. He'll have say. What he won't have (hopefully) is  respect and credibility in his own right. People won't be clambering to act in films he's directly linked to.

 

Spacey will have a much much harder time. I think we saw the last of him as a big star in the public. He has a legacy...and a name but... will he ever lead another show or film or West End/Broadway show? Probably not.

In Dushku's case, the stunt guy is still working with children. Someone found his current website and pulled up the picture she was describing. It was like, a children's camp or something?

Even if she can't get legal justice (due to lack of evidence or statue of limitations), Dushku's statement makes it harder for him to have access to potential child victims if parents or business associates learn about his past abuse. 

 

Anyway, yeah, this is basically some big name stunt guy. Nowhere near the fame or power of Trump or the other people you listed. It's likely we'll never see anything happen to them (except for Spacey? I feel like Hollywood took his grievances more seriously because he was gay and it's easier to excuse hetero """transgressions"""?).
