Anyone who knows me knows that I am introverted af in real life aside from when i'm with my friends Presentations have never been my thing either, I used to have panic attacks when i had to do them Last week I was suddenly advised by my boss that she wants me to teach a class, internally i was like The class I was assigned was "Human Resources in the Aviation Industry" I was teaching the certificate level students (Level 3) I mean I am qualified for the job but if I wanted to be a teacher i would have been a teacher My current job role is hard enough as it is as I have to frequently interact with students (I'm the Associate Director Of Student Services) Anyways, I was scared of speaking to them as the persons are around my age or older (i'm 19) and i know how people look at persons that are teaching that are younger than them (not to mention i have a babyface fml) BUT I FUCKING SLAYED TBH I DISCOVERED ANOTHER NEW TALENT The students all said my class was fun and everyone participated alot, it was a good experience. BUT I really want to drop the class as soon as possible BUT my mom is my boss and she says I need the experience FUK THAT TBH SOMEONE GIVE ME TIPS ON HOW TO INJURE MYSELF SO I DONT HAVE TO SHOW UP ON SATURDAY. My younger sister has some kind of crowd phobia (I don't know the proper term for it) and she gets panic attack and I want to help her get through it. plush-cthulhu 4,472 Posted January 13, 2018 Share Posted January 13, 2018 I'm a pretty hardcore introvert, but I love teaching Speaking in front of a crowd used to be really scary but I overcame it by focusing on what I wanted to say rather than how to phrase it. Whenever I lose the thread I just go back inside my head: "What the hell was I supposed to say now? Oh yeah, I was gonna describe how ... works."
