It will be less visible but with BGs, it never die down (maybe except EXO vs BB one)

EXO vs BB was like LeBron vs Kobe never really went head to head for a championship so... the "fan war" died quick it wasn't worth it.

I honestly feel BTS winning is the slow end to this "War" believe it or not. I don't see BTS being able to do what EXO has done in awards and I don't see EXO getting the western impact BTS has.

So In the end both win, and it's 2018. I think another group will rise in my opinion.

Yea enlistment maybe. When is Xiumin enlisting?

Honestly Exo has been so good I also have doubts whether any other group can be as consistent as them. LYH really hit it out of the ballpark in 2017 but whether they produce another stellar album in 2018 to continue the streak is anyone’s guess. If they do then well done I’m happy to have new songs to listen to. Then again if so fan wars will probably actually intensify instead of dying down. Oh the horror

in a couple of years definitely...when exo/bts' oldest members start to enlist and new groups will start to climb in popularity.

right now i think the reason why it's so bad is because bts' popularity sky-rocketed in a pretty short time (like compared to how long it's been since their debut and how they'd kinda stayed at a consistent level up until ~ bst-era, when it seems like they suddenly exploded)

so when bts like 'plateau' i think it'll be a lot calmer if ygm

also exo have totally dominated the scene for so long, only artists like bb were their rivals but even they were from a diff gen and so didn't overlap much. bts and exo are similar aged, debuted at similar times, have very similar demographics, etc etc. so everyone just seems to pit them against each other to generate buzz - even the media, award shows etc - they thrive off fanwars lol
