I think there's still hope

I still holding out that there are probably still survivors on the sewol ship

i really hope hope that all those people on the surface would act faster (especially the so called "officials" that are supposedly going underwater) I really hope they are acting fast and not trying to stir up some random bs (like weather was bad or some shit, that is bs)

what makes me hold on to hope of the survivors is the air pockets that can be formed underwater

here's an example of someone who survived in the air pocket for a few days and this gives me hope for those that are still holding on inside the sewol ship

I'm still hopeful too but water temperatures are making it quite hard for me to keep hoping.

I don't know how cold the waters were when this man was going through this but it doesn't seem like it was very cold considering that he's practically naked and he's not freezing so idk...

I'm really hopeful but the chances are very very slim now.

even if the chances are smaller now, there is still hope isnt it

i really am holding out for the last strands of hope

I also hope the ones that are still alive inside are also holding out

well the person in the video survived in the atlantic ocean of which the temperatures varies from -2 degrees Celsius to 6-8 degrees Celsius in warmer areas

besides staying in an enclosed area makes the area with oxygen warmer as well (there's some science behind it but its logical isn't it, you keep breathing in that area and since there's no room or other places for air to escape it will stay in the enclosed area and it will be warmer)

There are stories of wreck survivors where they float on the ocean for days or a week. So I hope there's still a chance.

when i posted this i still felt like there may have been people that were still alive and that video just further prolonged my hope

but after observing and reading how the situation was handled (rescuing etc) and now continues to be handled my shreds of hope are ultimately really tiny

they ("proffessionals" that are supposed to be rescuing and helping) took action tooooo slowly and that pisses me offf so much.

I've been thinking about it all day. I almost started tearing up earlier.

But realistically, I don't think they're coming back.. mainly because of 2 things:

1. Unless they were trapped in the kitchen or something, how would they get food?

2. The water temperatures are way too cold. The currents are very strong as well.

3. Fresh water? How would they have access to that?

Nonetheless, this is a TERRIBLE tragedy and I am praying for all affected by it.
