Bosnia_HyunaLover <3 10,170
It's such a good Tom, I haven't seen any homophobic articles or statements in the media and world for a long, long time It looks like people are accepting this fact day by day even more and I'm so happy because of that! Chuu even confirmed everything with her amazing LGBT MV â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤
doki-doki 21,660
I'm glad you feel that way, I still feel like we have to keep fighting for true acceptance, especially when we have that homophobic, transphobic Clown in the White House. Nowhere Boy 2,431
Guys, look at the topic title. He said “it’s never been so okay to be gayâ€. He did not say “it’s okay to be gay everywhere, you won’t have to worry about anything.†Keep a positive attitude. Compare 2018 to how it was 50 years ago. The world has come a long way and being gay is more acceptable than it ever has been, hence the topic title. Don’t be so negative, that only hurts you in the end. We’ve made great progress in gay acceptance and we’re only going to keep making great progress. Keep your head up.
gobSIDES 1,175
Agree to an extent OP, the world , at least in most modern, developed countries gay people are living better than ever and more and more countries are legalizing civil partnerships, and if you're lucky enough to live in some place even same sex marriage like here in Ireland. But homophobia and general LGBT problems are still far from a great place. I mean look no further than the US president for one and his disgusting VP... The majority of countries around the world, even in the so called developed world still have yet to legalize gay marriage-I know the list is growing and soon a couple more will be making the right move, but still more people than not are waking up in countries they otherwise love to live in, but still don't have the same basic rights as a op' sex couple in 2018. Not to mention beyond the legal side anti gay feelings are still alive and well and a lot of people are still coming out into families that don't and won't accept them for it.... It's great to look on the bright side and look at all the progress, and yes we have had lots, but 'it's never been so ok to be gay' sadly and in truth is not a reality for many many people today. It's better than before, but for most it's still not great. what world do you live in? +
Jinsus 846
Honestly, it goes from country to country. And region to region. There are some parts of the US that its almost uncommon to not be LGBT in some way or another. Then there are others where you'll be shunned. I think in the US, from my experience, it's generally accepted by everyone 35 and younger! ^^ Really, it's going in the right direction.

Yes, it most certainly is, and as the younger generations keep coming through things should just get better and better.
