Are we going to get any solo debuts from the new generations this year?

Hyuna debuted 1 year after 4M debuted

Song JiEun debuted 2 years after Secret debut

 

And we already have groups that are 3.5 years in the industry

I would really like to see Irene debuting this year with an upbeat song, I think she would really slay it and I believe in her, she would fit something like JiEun '25' imo

Prolly not, Seulgi says she wants to promote more with RV and doesn't think of debuting solo anytime soon- she wants to have more concerts with them and continue promoting with them. I don't see anyone from RV debuting solo anytime soon tbh, for each group it took SM like Taemin 6 years to get a solo debut, Luna 7, Taeyeon 8 years.

 

I probably see any of them debuting solo maybe next year if SM plans on debuting a GG soon since it seems like SM is beginning to make certain members focus on certain things- Seulgi and Wendy have a high chance of debuting solo since they're being constantly promoted in that direction with collabs and OSTs. Joy and Irene are probably going to go for the acting and variety path for individuals schedules since it seems like SM is pushing them towards that direction. Yeri for composing maybe. 

 

I don't see BP making a solo debut either since YG hasn't even given us an album yet and is already in talks of debuting another group but if I were to say someone maybe Lisa or Jennie. For Twice, I can see them pushing Nayeon, Jihyo, and Mina towards solo stuff

 

Gfriend, I feel like Yuju-SinB-Eunha would have one maybe but I don't really see GFriend having any solo debut either but if they do I hope that they take a different path concept wise, like build their own image with songs that don't have the gfriend feel would be interesting
