Thankfully when I was very young (Around 8-12) I was into American Girl Doll videos, but I would also say that at this time YouTube wasn't filled with inappropriate videos targeted to/watched by mainly kids... ElsaGate wasn't a thing, prank videos weren't a thing, neither was Vine or Musical.ly. I'd say that after Vine came around things went downhill fast.
