This was supposed to be part of 'A Flower Bookmark 2'(title track) but IU decided to remove it because of the issues regarding his family during that time. Without any prior announcement, she finally posted the unreleased mv of the song tonight.

nope. no one knows if she's going to release it digitally. i think there's still a lawsuit going on with kim kwangseok's wife vs his family.

basically, wife kept the death of the daughter for 10 years, people are suspecting it's because she wanted the money from his songs to keep flowing + people are speculating too that kim kwangseok's death might not really be suicide

Just learned of it as well when I checked out Kim Kwangseok's wiki again and saw that his death anniversary is today ;___; WHAT A SWEET ANGEL!!! she even almost cried for excluding it + making the physical release delayed.

Oh My God this is exactly what I imagined her cover to sound like after she sang it at her concert, so beautiful omg

 

And IU's heart is so pure we don't deserve her. Excluding the song out of respect for KKS, then releasing it for free on the anniversary of his death like wow. She's not making any money off this song and Kim Kwang Seok was the one trending and the one people will remember the most through this song. I believe that's what IU wanted and I respect her so much for that. A beautiful heart and soul

wow, i felt like my heart dropped near the end of the mv..it was so heartwarming yet heartbreaking at the same time...

 

just look at the lyrics. i feel that she might have written ttn with this song in mind. particularly, her reference to firefly, which in this song figures as a 'star in her heart'.

overall, there is this contrast of the night and light as the manifestation of her love.. 'illuminated', 'beam of dawn'
