We need more of this band in 2018 and they have big big potential to go on and make some more great songs and I can really see them growing in 2018 with good focus. Kingsandqueens 2,428 Posted January 4, 2018 Share Posted January 4, 2018 I already write this on CLC thread : They need to boost up their game to CLC and Pentagon, their brand reputation ranking is lagging behind their batch group and for CLC they have the most difficulties because must competing with Twice and being compared everyday (no hating Twice, just the fact that they are debuted back in 2015) I wonder why Cube haven't sent Pentagon to shows like LoTJ yet (meanwhile SF9 and Victon already did that show) and I missed CLC being at varieties again like before (Yeeun at Running Man; Yujin at Real Men; Sorn at Happy Together) I appreciated Cube's improvement last year but I'm looking forward their another breakthrough this year Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pentagon has potential and they have to work hard to grow them. They should have sent CLC to the Unit. CLC hasn't just fallen behind their contemporaries they now have to compete with all the groups that are going to get some kind of reality boost from The Unit and MixNine. Most of their groups have some sort of gap year between the current and next gen. ___ Pentagon's gonna be their top priority most likely because they need another boy group with a decent-sized fandom under them. BTOB's gonna start enlistments in the next few years so Pentagon has to be able to bring in a lot of money to cover that. CLC needs to keep being pushed as well since they were starting to gain some fans and attention last year. It would do Cube good for CLC's fanbase to solidify. I'm hoping Cube will give Hyunseung something this year. They aren't very good with their soloists, but here's hoping that will change this year. I hope Cube pay attention to their solo singer more (Hyunseung and Jeon Soyeon). At least give Soyeon proper promotion. She's an amazing dancer and rapper. And stop doing Hyunseung dirty like this, cancelled his fanmeet twice .... About new group, i hear a rumour about their plan to debut new girlgroup in 2018 and new boygroup in 2019. The boygroup is lowkey comfirmed with Guanlin, Seonho and Woochan in it. I doubt about the girlgroup, if it's happen maybe they will debut in the end of 2018. LAST, BRING BACK TROUBLE MAKER!!! Jeffrey Jung 19,680 Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 Probably expanding Pentagon and CLC they did great job with contents and music last year for both of them BTOB already has self sufficient fandom and massive public recognition as of now they can do pretty much anything they want Hyuna can do whatever she wants also the anti Cube sentiments from ex 4nias should probably die down considerably this year and i’m pretty sure only the minorities from Highlight’s fandom is still spreading it honestly if y’all can’t move on while the said artists already moved on y’all are lost causes Seonho is probably going to do a lot of activities this year far more than last year i expect him to get web dramas offer and variety shows again I believe they’re grooming Hui to become another songwriter that can give his songs to other artists too. They did a great job with him last year by giving Never and Energetic to P101 trainees and Wanna One. oneclearnight 83 Posted January 7, 2018 Share Posted January 7, 2018 obviously btob. they had their biggest year in 2017 and cube needs to keep that momentum going. i expect at least 2 comebacks this year, more touring and japanese promo. hopefully sungjae will do more acting this year too. hyuna had a fairly successful 2017 and cube doesn't want her to fall behind other soloists so she'll have a few comebacks and some form of collab (it ain't happening but more triple h pls). idt they'll debut any new groups this year. do cube have many female trainees? clc still need a breakthrough, i can't see them debuting a new gg when clc is struggling. their next debut will be seonho and guanlin's group in early 2019. imo pentagon need more promo individually (we're off to a good start this year with yeo one's drama) and 2+ comebacks. cube need to keep building their fanbase, public recognition will come in time imo. it took btob about 3 years to start gaining traction, i expect around the same for ptg. Other than that, they'll of course have to keep BTOB relatable as their current flag group. But I guess this is going to struggle a little because of Cube's current efforts to make Pentagon get a more solid and international fanbase. About CLC, I really, deeply wish that they'd concentrate on them, but because of Cube's new upcoming group, I'm honestly quite worried..
