Seems kind of messed up that they would make the sims sentient... that’s not cool at all. Can’t they just run the numbers and get a result instead of stressing these sims that literally have their own consciousness in a virtual world? Morally wrong imo.

Ohhh thats true, but i guess either

A) to play it out flawlessly and seamlessly would be to recreate the exact moves of the users and that would result in a seemingly sentient sim, because they literally mimic every little thing that would happen in reality (so is it truly sentient or just apparently?)

B) maybe it could just be code and numbers, but then u lose the viewers emotional attachment to the sims and it wouldnt put our little brains in a pickle so it wouldnt really be Black Mirror-esque if u get what im saying

That is true. People are indeed shallow. What can you do, we’re all attracted to pretty people. But a real relationship needs more substance than just looks. You have to be truly compatible. That is difficult to find in real life.

In the back of your head you’ll always be thinking that there might be someone better out there especially if you get into a fight or something. But it’s only later when you realize that the past relationship was actually really good. This is why an app like this would be awesome. or maybe just the guards were fake and they were like the firewall of the app and once they 'broke' the firewall they could bypass or hack it which is why at the end of the sim things look like they deteriorating, much like what would happen to a computer firewall shit breaks

I’m guessing it’s basically like any dating app but it’s a bit more sophisticated. So pretty much it runs sims with you and everyone else in the pool to get your perfect match. But it does the whole sim thing with every pair. I’m guessing there could be multiple perfect matches for a single person but it try’s to get the pair with the highest compatibility. Maybe you’d be more compatible with another person out there but that person isn’t using the app so you’d never know.

Well it’s probably in the cloud and run on huge server networks. The real processing won’t be done on your phone.

770 is not a score , they are labeled from 1-1000 , only 2 didn't leave the place which is why it was 99.8%/998
