aeromancy 1,186
I don't do anything aside from the basics, but I've recently found that drinking a ton of water is probably the best thing you can do for your skin if you don't already!
Oltre Luna 1,299
Sis I am poor, My mom won't let me buy any skincare products either I need like a recipe with those regular degular thing everyone has at home Then try a turmeric mask since it is antibacterial or maybe a banana mask but please never add lemon juice in your masks please don't. You could use aloe vera on your spots if you have it at home and also ricewater as a toner ( it helps to fade out red acne marks but it is also brightening so if you don't want to be paler(?) then don't use it too frequently)
Poeski 3,021
Toner is your friend. I use Rose water. It shrinks and tightens your pores. Use masks as well peel off and mud. They cleanse your pores. Retinol is a great product to use because it increases cell turn over rate and prevents breakouts or clears it up quickly. Edit: some of this stuff is pricey. If you can't buy it, get a cheap facial cleanser and exfoliant. Anything that is rough and small can be used to exfoliate your skin like ground coffee and sand. Lemon can be used to fade acne scars. TaeTaeStan 4,076
Drink a lot of water, exercise regularly, eat healthy (lots of fruit and vegetables), limit junk food & fried foods, & honey is really good for the skin. I apply honey on my face as a face wash every night and it makes your face really smooth.
bromiscuous 1,178
Use the ordinary skincare, it's cheap but does the jon. Buy an acid exfoliant, for pores and pimples, buy a BHA acid. Also after moisturising in the morning always use sunblock of atleast spf 30 everyday. Using an acid exfoliant makes you more sensitive to sun damage. For dark spots buy a product that has arbutin/azelaic acid in it. They both have lightening effects and even skin tone.
