What would happen if Perfume didn't lipsync?

Perfume are famous for their incredibly altered vocals which means they can't sing their songs live. This also means most people haven't heard their real singing voices. But if you dig a bit deeper you can hear how they sound when they perform songs that weren't written by Nakata..

The results are quite unexpected.

Perfume's second single Kareshi Boshuuchuu (Looking For A Boyfriend) in 2015:

Cutie Honey cover:

Perfume's first single Omajinai Perori in 2002:

(the song starts at 5:20)

They sound like Seiyuu singers, especially Idol Anime Seiyuu singers,

Wait...vocoders(which is what Perfume uses) and such can't be used in real-time? Wouldn't it just be running their live vocals through a filter or something to alter them live?

I mean, musical instruments are altered all the time at live shows(like Bon Jovi's use of the synthesizer), why can't the same be done to vocals at a concert? Not to mention all the rock/metal bands that distort their guitars with the use of those pedal rigs.

I know they started off as idols but wow their old songs are super idol-ish.

I was blown away the first time I saw that Cutie Honey performance. I feel bad for A-chan, it must suck not using your own voice to sing. On the other hand, she is super successful and gets to perform bops though.

Here's another vid:

I haven't listened to much Seiyuu but I doubt they sound like Achan.

I think they might?

But it was easier to title the thread this way.

Mizuki Nana might...girl/woman has a hell of a voice. Not surprising when she trained to be a singer(Enka) first and foremost...she just happened to be into anime and games, too, and wanted to do voice work for them, as well...

I think they do...I don't see why they wouldn't when guitars can be altered live. I see what you mean, though.

EDIT: Anyway, this doesn't surprise me. I seen a video once of her(Acchan) singing one of Utada's songs on some kind of karaoke setup.
