none of them were actually at a school since I was homeschooled, but I:

-wrote freelance articles for the paper through a program they had for youth writers (mebbe not relevant anymore since many papers are in the toilet, but you can write for online publications!)

-volunteered through Planned Parenthood as an peer educator (teach other teens about safe sex, etc.)

-participated in my church youth group in a leadership position as well as doing social justice projects to help the wider community

-volunteered with the local office of the democratic party

volunteering at a hospital is great!

Get on it OP, the only reason why I got in a good university was because my extracurriculars. I even got a city scholarship for completing 1000+hours

.-.

My grades were nothing stellar so something had to make up for it. If you have good grades/testing and just one extraccuiculars, you're chilling.

i was in this thing called i-team for the ~gifted~ and all we did was go on field trips to universities and colleges which imo was really boring so i left after the first year lmao. later on i was part of our eco club where we gardened, measured the school's waste/if classes were recycling properly, and most importantly cooked the things we grew ehe. i'd also pop in to the drama and anime club just because many of my friends were in drama and i took it for two years so i'd help out here and there. the anime... lol my visual arts class was usually at the end of the day so i'd stay behind to finish up and the art room was where anime club was held sooooo it was there and i watched laugh.png

i kinda wanted to do school council or our school spirit club, which helped planned pep rallies and and assemblies and stuff. but i never did, i don't remember why...
