enchante 4,542
i'm someone who's already naturally thin and naturally has a fast metabolism but I find myself just a lil too fluffy tbh and would like to build some muscle and lose some fat. I don't often work out or watch my diet so please tell me your dieting and fitness tips! I'd like to build muscle in my legs, butt and core. Vanilla Cupcake 3,584
Keto diet and jujitsu. I lost 5 pounds in a week. But it's no pain no gain, maintaining a 70% fat and 5% carb diet could be depressing in the beginning. Everything has carbs ;( To start, I would start eliminating processed food (i.e. all natural ingredients. Good rule of thumb is that if you don't know what a certain ingredient is, it's likely not good for you), then ease into keto diet. It really helps! You lose weight fast, and your skin becomes better I feel better in general too.
TaeGiElitist 4,238
Don't eat late at night like past 6pm. Plan your meals. Im type 1 diabetic so i eat low carbs. I personally don't eat more than 1000cals a day but that might be too little for you depending in your height and current weight.

That's a decent start at least.

is it just me 632
If you're trying to look into losing fat but maintaining your current weight I would look into recomp it's a slow process but it's good for people who are at a healthy BMI but still carry a bit of fat in certain places aka "skinny fat". If you want to actually lose some weight best bet is setting up a calorie deficit and incorporate some cardio and strenght training.
is it just me 632
5'5 and 115 your BMI is at a healthy level if you lose more weight you'll be under weight, you should just focus on strenght training or recomp if you feel like you actually have fat
TaeGiElitist 4,238
5'5 and 115we are the same height but I'm 125. My diet is more for my diabetes. I think you should just do more cardio then, so you get more toned, then you'll feel less fluffy lol.
junmyeonsnoodle 1,074
Do pilates. I'm triangle shaped naturally (huge boobs and shoulders, no butt and little definition in my legs) and pilates helped me grow a butt. It also just tones you over all. I also use the stair stepper machine (which is a BITCH, but gives major results). If you want to change your diet, just try and add a little more veg to your plate and order a smaller size coffee (sounds minimal, but small changes have big impact). Boom 108
If you really want to get toned, lift weights before you do cardio for maximal results. If you want to gain muscle, low reps, high weight. You won't get bulky because females don't the testosterone for that. For quads and butt, I basically built my ass and lived in a squat rack doing high weight, low rep. I'm talking 5 sets of 135 x 5 and added weight on whenever necessary. Calves, calf raises. Core, I just do ab workouts or kickbox. Good luck!
