Which city would you recommend for a holiday ?

I’m currently on holiday in Edinburgh, Scotland and I’m so in love with this place, it is officially at the top of my list for holiday recommendations.

The people are so friendly, the food is so delicious although Haggis was a bit strange and the architecture especially in Old Town is phenomenal.

I’ve travelled to a lot of countries and I live in one of the most well known capital cities in the world and Edinburgh is most certainly my favourite of the lot, if it wasn’t so cold, I may have considered moving.

Bangkok

I've never been there, but everyone and their mothers seem to have gone there already, and they all love it.

Since you're in Europe hop on a plane and go to Krakow, Poland and Zakopane. Gorgeous cities, especially during this time of the year. Ryanair offers really cheap flights across Europe and you can get a ticket for as low as 40$ sometimes.

I visited Edinburgh in October, and I was mind blown by the beauty of the city. I also went on a trip in the highlands. And it was absolutely gorgeous.

For other destination recommendations:

Kraków (visited around 2 years ago, and the city is wonderful)

Copenhagen (my home country, but it is actually a very nice city to visit. I've been there countless times. A lot of nice architecture and things to see)

Paris (no explanation needed, just a lovely city. Been there twice myself)

Thanks for the tip, I’ve only been to Budapest in Eastern Europe and it was phenomenal, so I definitely want to check out more countries in that area of the world

You have to see Rome at least once in your lifetime

I preferred Venice to Rome but it’s a beautiful city.

Bangkok

Bangkok is stunning & so fabulous. I loved every second, it’s probably my 4th favourite holiday destination. You need to go!

i've never really traveled but from what i've seen online hong kong looks cool

I’ve never been there either and I really want to go one day, it seems wonderful.

I don’t gamble or drink and I’m terrified of America’s fondness for guns

Dude when I was last there, there was a shooting across from my hotel, but this is America we’re talking about that can happen just about anywhere. Gambling and alcohol though? Well it’s a price to pay for a cheap vacation.

I haven't traveled nearly as much as I would like but Wellington in New Zealand is an amazing city! I recommend hitting it up on the weekend so you can go to the underground market and the night markets but even if you don't there's so much to do there.

Also Chicago in the US.

I'm actually going to Krakow next Friday. Have my whole trip planned out. Accommodations are extremely cheap, food is really good and Polish hospitality is amazing. I found AirBnB for 1 week for only $200 and it had amazing reviews about the host and the location. Airfare from NY to PL can be pricey at times but it all depends on season and whether you're going nonstop or with layovers. I prefer nonstop flights from Polish LOT airlines. I paid $788 for a round trip ticket for 3 weeks which is really cheap.

If you're ever back in Eastern Europe in the summer time then the TriCity by the Baltic Sea are a must to visit! Gdynia, Gdansk and Sopot.
