Every time they come shopping here they only buy brand-name stuff and mention how people expect brand-name things for ãŠåœŸç”£. And even when shopping in HK or Bangkok (cheap fake goods capitals) they sadly buy a lot of fake designer stuff because it's a big emphasis on status symbols when you wear something swank even if it's fake. I don't really get it but I'm pretty Americanized, I shop at Marshalls and TJMax mostly (they have a lot of designer stuff but I just like how cheap everything is because I'm cheap.)
