LOONA, seriously...

So I was organizing the songs I'm gonna put on my Best of Kpop 2017 thread on Twitter, and decided to watch the stuff I missed through the year, just to make sure I wasn't missing out on smth important. I did this last year too, but for some reason, I missed out LOONA bc I didn't know that the project existed back then (didn't use OH much either). So I started binge watching lots of MVs of all sorts of artists, until I decided it was time to watch what LOONA was all about and why there was so much hype on them.

 

Bitch, wtf. What. Was. I. Thinking. Why did I miss out on these girls? Why was I lazy? I want to go back to 2016 and bitch slap my old self until she watches LOONA from the beginning. Why didn't I give proper attention to all the threads, comments and recommendations floating around on here, Twitter and Youtube? I regret this so much that I can't even describe my frustration. I could've been listening to this for MORE THAN A YEAR and being given quality music and MVs, but I was dumb. 

 

I started listening to them on the day before yesterday, and it's all I've been able to listen to ever since. I've downloaded all of their songs. What is this black magic???? HOW DO I STOP????

 

I can't even choose a fave song. For now, my fave member seems to be Haseul. She has such a striking voice and looks and wow. I have so many questions now that idk where to start. Where did this company take so much money to fund such a pre-debut project? Why isn't Yeojin in any unit yet when she was presented in January? When will they debut? (I heard it was gonna be this year, but idk what happened on the way lol I really didn't look much into who they were this past year) Where have these girls been my whole life?

 

 

Anyways, for the user(s) that had Jinsoul's Singing in the Rain sigs, thank you. It's why I thought of giving them a chance in the first place. Pls guide me through the loonatic path.

Welcome darling. I discovered them right before Yves' single came out. I just kept seeing Choerry's thumbnail and she was so fascinatingly pretty, that I was desperate to listen to her song. So then I started from Viv:d and worked my way down.

there are still 2 members to come in jan/feb, and after that their subunit. i guess the "real debut" is maybe may-july?

I've listened to literally every single LOONA song I could find, even the b-sides of each release. I'm way too deep now, idk what to do.

 

I'm curious to see what will be the concept of the next sub-unit and the full group! Each has different vibes, but all seem so... soft? Yet luxurious and fun?? Idk how to describe lol but they are great and I am sold now. I can't at these ggroups stealing my heart lately.

 

((Btw I'm already into Good Day so now I'm a bit confused bc some girls have really similar names xD ))

Started from ViViD too! I tried watching everything in chronological order, but the playlist I was using for it stopped at Puzzle T.T

yes the last unit will be the last four girls (Yves,Chuu,M11 & M12) and as for Yeojin pretty much consider her a member of 1/3 i guess she'll be featured with them on the debut album or something because i doubt theyll comeback before then

welcome to yeojin cult :P yeojin wasn't in a unit because she's still in middle school. she'll be able to promote after loona debuts and she graduates middle school. the predebut project ends in march and popular theory is that they'll debut in may of 2018.

I know, I know :happy: and yeah ikr??? Heejin is my biggest problem, the names are exactly the same. At least Cherry/Choerry and Vivi/Viva are a bit different lol. Both rookies to look forward to! Hope they can become friends in the future T.T

Everything's cool and there's nothing to regret. I started to follow them since Haseul's Let Me In, so it has already been a year (rlytearpls.png) and it has been very exciting to follow them since but I also think it's cool to get first introduced now that the project is so advanced and get punched in the face with all the material they have now at once. That's something I quite experiment myself but I do like watching some reactions in youtube where people who don't know nothing about them marathon all their vids at once and most of the time they get a super good impression and also get overwhelmed. Even when they were only three girls I also felt overwhelmed and lost and started to wonder almost the same things.

 

For the main part most of information can be found in their youtube channel, loonatheworld, and on their instagram where they make simple contest and giveaway albums. Then there are a few live performances from their sub-units and web drama with most of the girls on it. Lastly I think Hyunjin and Heejin are still participating in a reality show (Mix 9) and I don't watch it but people who those talk about Heejin and Hyunjin being among the most popular and liked contestants.

 

P.S. Now we're all wearing Chuu's sigs and dp pictures so thank them as well. imstupid.png
