I've never spent more than 4 hrs on the beach before but I spent almost 7 hrs in the hot sun. Since then I've become like 4-5 shades darker. I didn't really care but since two days ago my face has begun to literally peel. I don't know if it's a face wash I just started using or if people peel when they get sunburnt? this is my first time getting sunburnt. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Beluga 554 Posted December 28, 2017 Share Posted December 28, 2017 It's more common than you think. It's basically your body shedding dead skin that was touched by the sun. You shouldn't peel the skin and should moisturize (someone already mentioned Aloe Vera and it's one of the best remedies) also, drink a lot of water and avoid the sun and use a lot of sunscreen, then you should be fine.
