If it was Korean I'd publish it there. She is singing in Japanese so I can't tag it MV-K, it is a PV. I would do that for any foreign artist singing in Japanese. Plus I never did it before. I don't think you need to worry cuz she's been around for almost 2 decades while some groups can't even last 1 year. And she doesn't need to be promoted the same way as these younger gen. idols. She's not trying to accomplish anything by topping charts or selling millions of albums. She's more concerned to grow as a artist and passing on her knowledge to younger Gen. She been writing and composing all her music and albums. As far as business... she's powerful enough and rich enough to do what she wants. She could run SM if she wants. But she's more focus on being an artist, music, and being a mentor atm. I don’t think SM is the one managing her career in japan. She's a SM artist after all so they need to acknowledge that. and like black_stare user mentioned... I'm sure sm is involved but to what level of degree? probably not that much. well again.. when you say "lack of promotions" it all depends on what their goal is. Like I mentioned she's been in the business for almost 2 decades and still holds relevancy in japan. her concerts sell out each time. There's a difference between hype and popularity. she may not be the 'current trend' or fresh face to the public anymore.. but it's not going to change anything. Even if they promoted her hardcore plastering her face all over japan it's not going to suddenly shoot her songs to top of the charts again. I mean.. it's the same with american artists. Great pop legends like Michael Jackson and Prince stopped promoting like they did back in the 80s and 90s long time ago. Every album release seemed to be fleeting from the previous one. Not selling as high as they used to and charting like they used to. simply cuz the public likes to see 'newer' faces etc. But they are legends nonetheless and still respected as one of the greats in music history. BoA will be the same. Avex is a big company that doesn't depend on only BoA or one artist anyway to bring in money so I don't think they would drop her for that.
