People care more about singing live than idols improving their vocals. Why?

A lot of artists lipsync, western or not.

Britney lipsyncs so much, no one cares anymore.

Mariah Carey lip syncs whole songs because her love for alcohol is ruining her voice.

If I remember correctly, Celine Dion sometimes lip sync her high notes to take care of her voice.

Adele constantly pushes with her throat, putting a lot of strain on her voice during her 21 era causing her to lose her vocal cords and undergo surgery. Did she learn? No. She did it again with her 25 era and now she has to cancel shows because of vocal cord damages AGAIN.

Christina Aguilera had an amazing voice but due to poor technique on belting, she can only do half of what she could've done in the past.

Hyolyn had a time where she wasn't taking her voice properly and her performances were eh.

I hear a lot of idols who sound the same as their debut year, with little improvements.

Everyone cares about them singing live but is they taking care of their voice properly?

but if you develop a good technique then you wont ruin your voice. ofc, artists should still have ample resting time, but a lot of these issues sound like they are caused by poor technique and copious work without proper rest.

in regards to kpop, a lot of fans can't even tell what's live and what's not and don't really like live performances due to their imperfections, so i'm not sure why lipsync matters so much.

People are just looking for a reason to drag in oder to make their favs look good

they wouldn't care about something nice and up lifting like a singer or idol improving their vocals lol

but watch them rush to a thread and get agitated af if they get an opportunity to bash over lip synching

Who continues to improve their singing?Everyone has a peak.

No, Beyoncé only got better. Listen to her early 2000's perf of crazy in love compared to her 2016 perf. She was a great singer back in the day and became an incredible one. Barbara Streisand after 50 years in the industry still sounds fantastic at 70 years old. There is no good reason for an artist to not be able to maintain their abilities.

Even Beyonce will reach a peak. If you listen to famous singers who are 60,70 or 80 they are not what they once were. Your vocal cords age with the rest of you.

You can be 60,70,80 years old and still slay... Like Patti LaBelle

He/She was talking about Peak not Consistency. Learn to differentiate.

Daniel: I think, I Yearned for You.

Jihoon: I want to raise Niel-hyung.
