Yesterday, when I was browsing WJSN bar on Baidu Tieba, China’s biggest fandom forum, I came across an impressive post. The poster, obviously a Chinese Ujung, wrote a 75-page-long “report†on how to popularize WJSN and sent it to Starship. Putting the content aside, the editing work alone requires a great amount of devotion and determination, which I think is amazing.

When comes to the content of this thesis, compared to its formidable length, what this author is trying to argue is unproportionally concise: Starship should put more effort on optimizing tags of WJSN music videos on Youtube. To be honest, I don’t think his/her point stands, given he/she believes that “The sudden blow-ups of BTS and Twice result from their perfectly-designed MV tags to a great extentâ€, which is kind of absurd.

By the way, this “report†is written in Chinese. If I were Starship, I would definitely draw on already-insufficient budget to employ translators to translate this potential gibberish from some random foreign fan into Korean and take time to read it, instead of simply dumping it to a corner of basement.

YES PREACH IT~

I remember telling before that they should make a sub unit of the group to debut but still NONE.

I just want to let other people realize that they are talented esp. on vocal unit.

they are freaking talented. WAKE UP STARSHIPPPPPPP

Their chinese agency should make Chinity just act in big ass productions, just that would them super popular.

i remember the one that stopping them before was the ban of kpop in China but that ban will be gone soon.

Yuehua won't slip on this chance.

theres a rule in kpop industry that they won't hire a fan as much as possible.

they usually do background check but of course not all companies do this and those were reckless.

i don't think that's a definite rule. somyi was a first gen AID before she became a manager for DIA, and then a member. there are other times when managers/insiders have been fans.

as long as they do background checks, they are fine.
